"Autumn." I said looking to my right with a worried look on my face.
"Chris is that you?" She asked with a lot of confusion.
"Where are we?"
"Better question how did we get here?"
We that word struck in my mind and I looked around and I see a bunch of people from my high school. What happened?
"What's the last thing you remember?" I asked.
"All I remember is going to sleep"
"That's it! We are all in the same dream."
"How do you know that?"
"I read it somewhere about lucid dreaming, being able to control and remember your dreams, and some of them can dream walk."
"What's a dream walker?"
"Someone who goes into other people's dreams. This is a little different though. He pulled us into his dream."
"How did he do that?"
"I haven't a clue." I said as I walked to the house about half a mile away. "But I'm gonna find out."
Autumn races to catch up with me but didn't say a word knowing this is a bad idea.
We stop just in front of the the old stone house with boarded windows. "We should go back" she said quietly.
"To where?" I asked looking around at the darkness around us.
She started looking around and didn't say anything. I proceeded to walk up the wood stairs leading up to the porch. everyone started following me to the porch all of them asking different questions all at once: "where are we... What is this place...how did we get here... What's going on." I told them everything I thought I knew and told them tho be careful when we get in the house the person who did this controls most everything. That raised one question the the people following me "What do you mean by most everything?" I replied with"He's not the only strong lucid dreamer." I grip the handles and try to pull but was stopped by the crowd. They then started saying "Isn't this what he wants us to do?"
I replied with "Maybe but what other choices do we have?"
I proceed to open the doors and a giant Ray of light flashes from the door. I go blind for a few seconds. When I can see again I can tell I was already in the house but not at the doors I tried to open. I was separated from most everybody except Autumn and I'm glad too cuz she is one of the nicest people I know. She seems to be passed out. I start looking around to see if there's any indication of what part of the house I'm at. No windows so not the edge. I walk a little closer to the sides of the room and I realize that I'm in a library.
I sit down next to Autumn until she wakes. She finally does and I tell her what happened. I find a lamp and try to turn it on but it doesn't work. I concentrate hard to turn it on with my mind. It buzzes a little and turns off again. I try one more time and it turns on to my surprise.
Autumn looks at me with a curious face and asks "how did you do that?"
"Like I said he's not the only lucid dreamer."
"So all you have to do it think of something and it will happen?"
"Kinda but he's trying to block me."
"Oh ok well now that, that's cleared up lets find a way out off here."
"Ok well the door I already tried and it's stuck. Most libraries in houses like these have secret passages right."
"I guess."
"Then let's look for any book that looks out of place."
She nods and we start looking. I look around the floor for any scratch marks of something being moved. After about ten minutes I found what I was looking for.
"I found something!"
"What!?"
"There are scratch marks on the floor which means this bookshelf had to be moved."
"Ok let's pull every book from the shelf"
"Good idea"
We start pulling books until she pulls one and hears a click. The bookshelf moved forward and left. We look inside the opening and see it's a tunnel and start walking into it. After a few minutes of walking we found an end and pull a lever to the right. It opened a wall which lead to the front doors again. We saw a few people and asked where everyone else was. They didn't know so they must have been teleported like us I thought to myself.
"Looks like I am going to start looking for them then." I said.
"Then I'll go with you." Said Tommy.
"Me too." said Autumn.
"I guess I'm going too." Agreed Jasmine
"Well I don't want to be here by myself. So I'm going too." Complained Jacob in his usual manor.
"You guys said all that like you had a choice. I was gonna make you come anyway." I said sarcastically to ease the stress they're having. I lead the way up the stairs and thinking to myself whoever did this to the people I care about is gonna pay.
