"Do you really think they're gonna be okay?"
Likha asked, eyes fixed on the scene they searched for at Villa Ventana.
"Eventually. Hopefully." Tim cancelled the current screen—Kyle Thomson, Allison Jeon—and removed it from the search history, making Likha whine.
"Heeeeey."
"That's enough, Likha. Let them be."
Her bunny ears drooped slightly. "But I wanted to make sure they'd end up together!"
Tim clicked his tongue and picked up the bunny carrier Likha brought in with her. He took her hand, had her hold the carrier handle, and shoved her gently to the door."Show's over. Go back to work."
"Why are you so mean?" she asked, resisting the shoving.
"Give them privacy, oh my god."
"That's it! I'm never going to your stupid café ever again!" Likha declared, stomping out of Villa Ventana and straight to Tim's motorcycle waiting outside. With a hand scratching the back of his head, Tim merely watched her throw a tantrum and settle into the sidecar, then flash him a glare.
He mounted his vehicle and picked up the spare helmet he brought for Likha, putting it on her himself when she refused to take it. "Really, you're going to be this difficult?"he asked, securing the helmet and making sure it wasn't too loose or too tight around her head.
"Why? Are you sick of it already?"
"You must be joking." Tim grinned and put his helmet on before starting the engine. "I have years of experience dealing with you."
Likha bit the inside of her cheek, willing herself not to smile. As Tim's motorcycle cruised through Nowheretown's main road, she snuck a peek into the bunny carrier holding Chestnut and Milk. If the two bunnies happily snuggling with each other were any indication of things to come, she'd say Tim was right.
Everything was going to be fine.
Hopefully.
Eventually.
THE END.
