When Emma got up Alijah was just sitting there staring at the stars, by which apparently it was night already. He looked over his shoulder and went back to staring at the stars. He seemed to be phased by the experience of the fall. " thank you" Aljiah said in a low voice, it seemed a little to low to be coming from him but all I did was pat his back and then said " to be honest I was scared myself because I didn't even know I could do any of that, and your stupid for thinking that I could before I could. How did you know I could do this?" Alijah was quiet then he spoke " comic books" "what?" asked Emma. Alijah said " I read in a comic book that the same thing happened to the boy that was in the book. His name was like ' refulgent rhenium ' he was out for like ten days and then a woman came to him and told him about a monster coming and that he was the only one that could stop it. He could fly and was bulletproof but when it came to weaknesses.... I forgot." Emma looked wildly at him "do you think the same thing will happen to me?" " I dunno, in fact we can go ask the guy who gave me it. I think I still remember where he lives." Alijah said getting up. Emma looked up " I don't mean to be a buzz kill but, how are we going to get up there?" pointing to the overlook. Alijah smiled " your going to fly us up there silly" " No no no not happening" Emma said in protest, and then as if this day wasn't full of enough surprises Alijah jumped up and floated if i can do so can you" Emma was just wowed and yelled " wait, how, if i, oh my lord child!" Alijah laughed and said ''come on just jump and think about flying and it is my technique " Emma jumped. Nothing. She jumped and again. Something. She jumped another time. Higher. She jumped a final time. Nothing or wait, her eyes were closed, she opened them slowly and she was floating in the air. WAIT SHE WAS FLOATING IN THE AIR! Alijah floated next to her, grabbed her hand and slowly ascended up into the air. It felt like forever that they were in the air. Once Alijah landed Emma was still floatings and she didn't know how to stop, she was still amazed. "Emma you're still floating, just think about a rock and think about its wait and how it will fall and it's heavy. Don't think about too much cause the-" THUD Emma landed on the ground next to him " or you'll land like that" Emma was standing up and Alijah was standing there laughing, then Emma started to laugh. Before you know it they were both laughing. Then Emma thought about something and it made sense Alijah was 'refulgent rhenium' " There Is no comic book is there?" Emma said when they got in the car " oh there is a comic my friend made for me when i was still learning what i could do, it acted like a guide to help me." Alijah said turning the car on.
