I woke up to what sounded like tapping against my window. I groaned and looked up at my window. My room is set up so that my bed is right below my window. "WHAT THE-" I screamed. There was someone at my window. I heard Duke's laughter and remembered the tree. The tree was a tree I had in my yard that you could easily climb and get on my roof from. We have been using it since we were kids. I sat up, crawled to the window, and opened it. "I hate you", I said rolling my eyes. "I l-love you t-to". He tried to say through his laughter. I couldn't help but laugh too, his laugh was contagious. Soon we're both struggling to breathe from laughing. He tried to hop through the window while laughing but caught his foot and face planted onto the bed only causing us to laugh harder. He rolled onto his back and I fell backwards laying my head on his stomach. A couple minutes passed before we stopped laughing. We laid there trying to catch our breaths. "Babe" I said, turning on my side so I could see his face but still lay on his stomach. "Yes?" he said glancing down at me "Is there a reason you're here at-" I sat up for a minute so I could grab my phone and immediately laid back down. I turned on my phone "5 in the morning?" I set my phone down and looked back up at him, waiting for his answer. "Yes, I do have a reason, come with me" He said sitting up and gently pushing me off of him. He got up and walked out of the room. I followed him out. I was only wearing a tanktop and some shorts so I hoped it wasn't too cold. When we got outside I locked the door behind me and we jogged to his car. "This better be worth waking me up at 5 in the morning or I'm going to be mad" I said jokingly as I got into the car. "Oh it will be" He said looking at me and smiling. I melted about inside, we've been dating for awhile but that side smile always makes me fall in love all over again. We sat in comfortable silence the whole way there. I looked out the window and stared at the stars and the moon. I loved the night, it made me feel safe, and he knew that. He pulled off to the side of the road and turned off his car. "And we are here," he said, opening his door and getting out. Before I could get out he jogged over and opened the door for me. "Ladies first" he said. I laughed "You're an idiot" I got out and he closed the door. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the field. I gasped. There was a blanket with fairy lights around it, and pillows set up perfectly in the middle of the field. "I know you've been kinda stressed lately, and I know how much you loved the night so I got up early and set this up, I figured we could stay and watch the sunrise." I turned to him and hugged him "Thank you so much" I said tearing up a bit. I buried my face into his shoulder as he hugged me tighter. "I love you so much Y/N, more than words can describe". He lifted my face up and kissed me softly. "Well what are we waiting for? Lets go!" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the blanket. We got there and he sat down with his legs out in front of him. I sat down and he pulled me into him so that I was sitting in between his legs. I leaned back onto his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. He gently kissed my head and he sat in silence just looking at the moon and the stars. I wasn't cold like I thought I was going to be, in fact I was quite comfortable with his arms wrapped around me. There was really no place I would rather be. A couple hours passed when I noticed the sky starting to get pink "Hey babe look" I said pointing to the pink part of the sky. He looked over there and smiled. "It's so pretty, I've never seen anything prettier" I said in awe. He gently put his chin on my shoulder and whispered, "I have". The sound of his voice in my ear made me shiver, but in a good way. I slightly turned my head so that I could look at him, "I love you so much, you have no idea" He smiled and scrunched up his nose, "I know I know I'm just the best boyfriend ever" I laughed "Don't get a big head". I leaned closer into his chest and we both continued to watch the sun rise.
