time for the truth

mattia's pov:

i dropped alejandro off at home and we said our goodbyes and stuff and i just watched him walk in the house

i got home showered and all that extra stuff and i laid down and watched some tv but the whole time i was thinking about alejandro then sebastien popped up in my mind what did alejandro mean when he said sebastien' a death was his fault i had to know so i texted him

a few moments later i made it to alejandro's house i knocked on the door he opened it and didn't say a word to me i was low key scared

we went up to his room and he sat on the bed i sat next to him "soo.." i said his eyes looked like that had tears

"we went to the mountains because he wanted to finally climb one and i drove us there as we were climbing i told him we should stop but he didn't want to he wanted to climb the top so i told him we can do that and we both started climbing and made it to the top he was so happy he was jumping up and down i tried to warn him that he was close to the edge he took it as a joke and then one thing led to another he slipped and fell that was the last time i got to see him alive or even smile" alejandro said all with tears running down his face

alejandro's pov:

i began crying harder because i hated telling the story of how sebastien died it haunts me every time i go to sleep

"ale it's not your fault he should've been paying attention" mattia said rubbing my back

i pushed him off me and got up "but it is mattia i shouldn't have even brought us to that mountain..i shouldn't of agreed with him to continue climbing because of my he's dead" i yelled also falling to the ground

i felt mattia's arms wrap around me once again "its ok please stop putting the blame on yourself" i just cried in his arms and we stayed like that for hours

"mattia" i said still sniffling "hmm" i heard him say i got up and looked at him "please don't leave me" i said with my eyes filling up "i won't" he said

but i didn't believe him people seats say that but they don't mean it "no you have to promise me you won't leave" i said kind of broken he grabbed my chin "i promise i won't leave you"
