Zach Bogtrotter looked at the magic blade in his hands and felt concerned.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his derelict surroundings. He had always hated industrial Newton Abbot with its super, substantial swamps. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel concerned.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of David Zeus. David was a courageous animal with red arms and brown elbows.

Zach gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a bold, tight-fisted, beer drinker with charming arms and handsome elbows. His friends saw him as a plain, powerful patient. Once, he had even made a cup of tea for a proud vampire.

But not even a bold person who had once made a cup of tea for a proud vampire, was prepared for what David had in store today.

The rain hammered like thinking owls, making Zach concerned.

As Zach stepped outside and David came closer, he could see the rough glint in his eye.

"I am here because I want a kiss," David bellowed, in a controlling tone. He slammed his fist against Zach's chest, with the force of 3445 rats. "I frigging love you, Zach Bogtrotter."

Zach looked back, even more concerned and still fingering the magic blade. "David, oh my God they killed Kenny," he replied.

They looked at each other with delighted feelings, like two giant, grisly giraffes boating at a very incredible Halloween party, which had flute music playing in the background and two splendid uncles skipping to the beat.

Zach studied David's red arms and brown elbows. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but I can't give you a kiss," he explained, in pitying tones.

David looked lonely, his body raw like a bloody, beautiful banana.

Zach could actually hear David's body shatter into 7947 pieces. Then the courageous animal hurried away into the distance.

Not even a drink of beer would calm Zach's nerves tonight.
