Chapter 4-the land of the moon

Asuka's pov
We started walking out of the village. Haru was in front and i was in the back. Right now, my job is to make sure no one is following us. Due to my extra keen senses, i was the lookout. My clan is called the 'royal clan'. We're known for several different things like our high senses, out monstrous strength, our amazing way with wild animals, our precise knowledge of poisons and antidotes, etc. And me, I'm a prodigy. I have an IQ of over 220, the normal monstrous strength, basic medical ninjutsu, two animal partners (Kai and Tora), high level Taijutsu, the ability to use a katana and a Bow and arrow, and wind, lightning, and earth style. Like i said, I'm a prodigy. But, i have several weaknesses. For example, i suck at genjutsu, I'm short tempered and hot headed, and I'm way too much of a leader. But all this doesn't really affect me if i can control it.
Time skip~
We've been walking for about 3 days now and decided to pick up the pace. We are currently jumping through the forest with Sensei in the lead-i was still in the back. Then, i smelled something. People.
I caught up to Tamaki Sensei and I started whispering.
"There are ninja following us, 3 of them." Sensei just nodded, and i fell back to my previous spot.We all nodded to each other and hopped down to the ground. Before we could sit down, dozens of kunai and shuriken flew down at us. We all blocked them with kunai. I grabbed my sword out of it's sheath and held it tightly in my hand. Three ninja in masks jumped down in front of us. I looked at their headbands.
"Hidden mist ninja..." I muttered. The one in front ran at sensei with a kunai in the hand. The one on the left made a couple shadow clones and him, his clones, and the one on the left ran at me,Haru, and Toya.
There were 5 clones surrounding me, so i took my katana and sliced them all in half, causing them to poof and disappear. I ran at the real one, pulled my fist back, and punched him in the face. He flew back, smashing through trees and bushes.
The three males looked at me in shock. I just shrugged and went to grab the ninja i punched. When i found him, i sat him up against a tree by the other three ninja and tied them up. We all decided to just leave them there, considering they weren't gonna wake up anytime soon.
Time skip~
We reached the dock where we would be transported to the land of the moon in boat. We all walked on and sat down on the ground. I pulled out a book about hidden ninja villages and flipped to the page i was on before. I read for a couple minutes before closing the book and shutting my eyes.

I opened my eyes as i sensed people staring at me. The other three were looking at me. A pouty look grew on Haru's face as he started whining.
"Mmm, i was gonna scare you awake..." He complained.
"It's impossible to sneak up on or scare me." I said we walked onto the island and looked around. We had reached the village we were supposed to be at but....it looked awful. The houses and buildings were all messed up and some were broken. There were people laying on the ground, clearly homeless. Children didn't run around or smile. They all walked in sorrow.
"I thought the land of the moon was a wealthy island..." I said.
"Me too..." Sensei said, trailing off at the end." The building we are supposed to meet the client at is this way, let's go." Sensei finished, walking ahead of us.
Poor village...
