Hustling out of bed in the mornings is a challenge!. Putting on clothes and getting ready for school are two others!. When will the torture end?!. But I got to do this to be successful in life and make my parents proud!. And most importantly set myself high above the rest!. Urgh!.
"Wake up Arie!, It's time to go to school!!." Yells my mother from across the hallway. I sigh and roll over. Is it morning already?. When will this end!, as I put the pillows over my face as I lay in bed.
I sigh and walk into the bathroom. I sit on the toilet and start dreaming of the biggest day of it all. My graduation day!. The day I escape torture!. I can hear the crowd cheering me on as I strut the walk way to collect my certificate and give my valedictorian speech. Then in comes my Mom.
"Arie!,Arie!." Screams my mom at the entrance of my bathroom door. "What are you doing daydreaming on the toilet when we only have 30 minutes to get everything done and leave the house?!". Yells my mother.
"Your breakfast is almost cold and everyone's almost ready to leave except you!." Yells my mom again.
I get up off of the toilet and have a quick shower, brush my teeth. Then I get dressed and do my hair as quickly as I can. To avoid hearing my moms torturous screams again. I grabbed my backpack and head down the stairs quickly.
"Mom!, where is my breakfast?!" I yelled. She answered "it was on the kitchen table!". "Mom!, I am not seeing it!." I shouted. Mom walks into the kitchen and to her surprise the breakfast is not there anymore. She quickly asks my older sister where is my breakfast?. My sister replied "She got even more hungry and ate it."
Mom was so mad. She then hands me $20 bucks and told me to get breakfast at school because we are now very late. I check my watch for the time and it's already 8:30am and my school starts at 8:00am. And my mom has to get to work by 8:45am and my school is 10 minutes away from the house and my moms job is 20 minutes away from the house.
Mom was pretty mad!. We left the house in a rush.
My mom dropped us off at school at exactly 8:40am. Then she quickly yells "Have a good day at school girls!, and be good!, I love y'all!, Bye". As she races off in the car to get to work.
We attend the most expensive private all age school in the district. The Campbell Grove School.
My older sisters name is Andrah Carter, her complexion is light brown and she is 16 years old, with long nice black curly hair and hazel brown eyes with a magnificent coco cola bottle shaped body everyone wants to have. She loves me but hates to have me around her in school time. Simply because she had to strut the school with her girl squad cheerleading gang.
My sister tells me bye and she will see me at 3:00pm in the afternoon to wait for my mom to pick us up. Like literally I won't see her again in school until that time.
So I head off to meet my friends Jess and Cassandra. We all the same age. That is age 14 years old. I will be making 15 years in two months time. I have the same light brown complexion as my sister and and the same long black curl hair. With a soon to be coco cola body shape like my sister Andrah.
My sister and I have the same parents both mother and father alike. But yet still we are so different in personalities. My name is Arie Carter.
My mother is a Secretary for a high class Law Firm Company. Her name is Tessa Brookes-Carter. She has very long mixed black hair type, with dark brown eyes and a defined coco cola body structure with a stretched out tummy from having kids. And slight sagged breasts as well. That only sags a bit without a brazier on but when she have on a brazier they are well perked up. She was on her way to becoming a lawyer when she met our dad and started having kids and forgot all about her dreams of becoming a lawyer and put us first.
She wants her girls to be different and walk a different path in life and set and achieve our goals and don't be like her and forget our dreams. Or put it off for anything. She pushes us academically very hard. She is a sucker for high grades and accomplishments from us.
And we never let her down in that area either. But she has a problem with our home cleanliness in our rooms and behaviors at times.
My dad lives in another state from us. He lives in California. And we live in Atlanta. We go there to visit him every summer and Christmas holidays. His name is Travis Carter. He has the same complexion as his daughters and same hair type. With marvelous teeth alignment and hazel brown eyes as well. My dad is a Contractor and owns his own construction company. The Carter Construction Company.
I wish one day my mom and dad could rekindle the fire and be together again in love and harmony.
Both parents are single and not looking to mingle so I see it best fit for them to be together but they choose not to be at this point. They have been separated for 3 years. After being together for twenty seven years.
But I know they will be together again someday in the near future. My mom and dad communicates almost everyday and they have no bad feelings for each other. So can someone please tell me why the major separation of love came about?. But this is a topic they refuse to talk to us about at this point. They just want both my sister and I to focus on school until they think it's the right time to tell us what's going on.
Bling!, Bling!, Bling!, Bling!. The sound of the end of another school day session for me. Hooo-raaaay!!. Home time at last.
I sit and wait at the schools entrance to wait for both my older sister Andrah and my mom. Ten minutes later Andrah sits with me on the bench and my mom arrives twenty minutes later to pick us up and take us home.
