It's dusk and the rain finally stopped so we decided to continue our long walk that we usually do after our long day at school.
The birds somehow decided to twitter loudly creating this very pleasant melodies we are now hearing.
I can tell that the cicadas are joining up the birds and suddenly, its seems like the bull frogs had joined too.The park is now filled with these beautiful noises and it almost sounds like it's an orchestra to me.
Loud and serene.
Back and forth.
Ebb and flow.
Beauty and chaos. The sound is exquisite.
The road is still wet and the place is quiet. It looks like we're alone except for these creatures that serves as our witness.
I stopped to listen, I closed my eyes and immerge myself into the cacophony of these sounds.
You noticed and you saw me with my eyes closed and my face that got this wide smile.
And then suddenly, my trance is broken when you put your left arm around my neck and tucked me.
We continued on walking.
And all at one the streetlights lighted up one-by-one and I got a feeling that it's intentionally pointing to the place we were now heading. It kinda formed like an arrow head leading us home.
I was breathing heavily and my heartbeat is racing.
The icy wind suddenly surges and I feel cold.Luckily, from the way you tucked me around your arm with your warm jacket eases this cold feeling.
You haven't noticed but I was blushing and luckily you weren't looking.
We continued our way and I'm praying and hoping that we got lost just so I could experience this moment over-and-over without worrying of getting lost or even losing track of time because I am with you.
I'm desperately keeping my fingers crossed in my back hoping that we'll take the long way home.
But just like every other stories...this wondrous moment comes to an end when we reached our cross roads, you were turning right and I was turning left.
You finally let go of me and waved to me and said 'good-bye.' I waved back and told you to take care and be safe.
You haven't noticed but I'm still rooted into the place where you'd left me, still admiring you and silly hoping you'll come back.
But you never did...
Why would you?I continued on walking and put my headphones on and play my favorite song, I liked it more now because you liked it from the moment I played it to you and every time I put it on a loudest volume, you always sing the chorus part and it melts me every time.
I walk and turned my back one last time trying to look at you but it seems like you're already gone.
Well I guess, I'll see you tomorrow then.
