The lost bracelet ( DISCONTINUED)

Time: 6:32 AM

  You sat there on your sofa as you scrolled through your social media while waiting for your uber to pick you up to drop you off at your first day at Digital.Co , a company that creates digital art aswell as advertisements. "Beep Beep" your uber honked as they had arrived. You rushed outside as he asked, "uber for Maria Timothy?" you nodded as you entered the vehicle.

 Soon enough, the car started to move as you nervously played with your bracelet on your wrist. This bracelet is the last thing your mother had given to you before she had passed away. Eventually, you arrived as you stared at the building with a slight smile as the other people walked by and into the building.

 "click clack" your heels collided with the floor with each step you made. After walking for a few minutes, you finally arrived at the boss' office, you knocked on the door as the following words was heard as a muffle "come in." however, the voice was stern rather than the happy energy you got from other workers.  You had a small bit of fear about entering the room however the other people in the building had given you confidence with their bright energy as you grabbed the handle to the door and pushed it open, it revealed a man sitting on a black office chair as his back was faced towards you. 

Suddenly, he turned around his face emotionless as his brown eyes had no shine in it his ebony hair nearly reaching his eyelash as his tongue caressed his lip piercing placed exactly in the middle of his bottom cherry red lip, "How may I help you?" He said in a raspy stern tone, "uh, Hi I'm the new worker the receptionist told me that you will be assigning me to a section" you said as you fumbled with your fingers which sadly, he took note to as he said "production headquarters" with no emotion as you bowed politely and left unknowingly dropping the bracelet on your wrist.

Mr.John's (your boss') POV

The new worker had eventually left as to where I had assigned her, while I was going through some files, my phone started ringing I answered the call without reading the ID "hello?" he mumbled as a familiar female voice emitted from the cellphone that laid on his ear and cheek. 

"hey, do you know what today isss~?" my wife had excitedly said, however, I agreed not really knowing what it was, she continued "Happy anniversary hun! I'll be in the office in 10~" and with that I froze as I harshly gulped "yeah haha in 10..." the phone beeped making a tone suggesting the line was cut.

 I bent my head flicking my hair out of my eyes I paused.... something caught my eye, I turned my head to the left as I grinned, I don't know where it came from but it saved me from getting yelled at.  

Sorry for the short chapter, I would like to say that I will be re uploading Kidnapped, I had taken it down due to some technical issues sorry ;(
