Chapter Four

Percy went to the city. He went there to visit his mom, Sally Jackson.

" So, how's it going between you and Annabeth? " Sally asked.

" We like each other. " Percy said.

" Is that okay for Athena? " Sally asked.

" I'm not sure, Mom. I don't know if my father, Poseidon and Annabeth's mother, Athena stopped fighting. " Percy said.

" Well, just continue what you're doing Percy. I'm proud of you. " Sally said.

" Thanks, Mom. " Percy said as he hugged his mom.

Sally smiled as Percy hugged her.

*Still Annabeth's POV

" Hey Annabeth, do you know where Percy is? " Grover asked.

" Yeah. He went to the city to visit his mom. " I said.

" Oh, c'mon! Why didn't he inform me? There might be a monster following him there! " Grover said.

" Don't worry, he promised that he will come back here alive. " I said.

" When will he come back? " Grover asked.

" Maybe tomorrow. " I said.

Grover walked away. I was left behind thinking of my mother Athena. I want to see her once.

" Mom, can you show up? " I said while I look at the stars.

- The next morning -

Grover gave Percy a bro hug when he came back.

" So, how's Annabeth? " Percy asked.

" She's fine. She was looking at the stars yesterday. " Grover said.

" What for? " Percy asked.

" I don't know. But hey, I'm glad you're back! " Grover said.

- Annabeth's POV -
The sun. It's bright and it's shining on me. I woke up.

" What time is it...? " I asked.

I went up and I walk outside. I saw Percy waiting in my cabin door.

" Hey..glad you're back, alive. " I said.

" Glad to see you. " Percy said.

" What's happening here? You two look so sweet to each other. " Grover said.

" Nothing. " Percy and I said at the same time.

" Grover mentioned that you were looking at the stars. " Percy said.

" Yeah. I was thinking of my mother that time. " I said.

" Why don't you visit her in Olympus? " Percy asked.

" I'm not ready to see her yet, face to face. " I said.

I imagine seeing my mother...it was hard. I don't even have a picture of her. Only a statue of her in the museum.
Thinking of my mother and thinking of Percy at the Camp Jupiter, at the same time, was hard for me.

" 3 days before I go to Camp Jupiter. " Percy said.

" Yeah. 3 days. " I said.

- The next few days -
Percy invited me on a date. I know, I know, it's so fast. We started dating. After a week...

" Hey can we talk for a minute? " Percy asked.

" We are talking. " I said.

" No, I mean we talk in somewhere private. " Percy said.

" Okay. " I said.

We could only think of Canoe Lake. That's our private place, or I mean our romantic place.

" This is awkward...but, do you want to be my girlfriend? " Percy asked.

I've been waiting for him to say it.

" Yes, of course, Percy. " I answered.

We hug each other. We did not kiss, but I'm still happy. I'm now his girlfriend. I know our parents had a rivalry, but we like each other. No one can stop that.

What a great feeling is this.

- Next day at Camp Half-Blood -
I told Piper about what happened and she was jealous of me. She said I'm lucky. Piper told me that Jason haven't asked her yet. It's been 2 weeks since they started dating.

I just can't believe we're together now. And now, I would never ever let go of him.

We can't be separated.
