Heartland Always and Forever
This is a story about a horse who has suffered a traumatic experience,this experience was a horrifying accident made out of pure love and concern for the horse. The horse was being abused at a nearby farm when a young girl named Amy was walking by. She heard the horse,the horse needed help and that's just what she set out to do. She quickly ran home to tell her Mum named Marion about what she just heard she was frightened she didn't know what to do. Her Mum quickly drafted up a plan, they were to leave during the night so no one would know what they had planned. Later that night Marion hooked up the horse trailer to her truck, when woke her up her daughter and told her it's time. Amy and her Mum left their ranch and the dead of night, they were focused on their mission.
They reached Mr Patrick Blunt farm Amy when around the front of the barn, whilst her Mum when around the back of the barn. Amy made it to the horse he was in a really bad way he was all bloody from being beaten, he had no fresh water and he had looked like he hadn't eaten in days. Marion was busted by Mr Patrick Blunt she confronted him about his ways of treating a horse. She said how could you do this to a horse this is pure animal cruelty, your a sick person Mr Patrick Blunt. Amy stood there quietly she didn't know what to say after all she was only 16. They managed to load the horse into the horse trailer. Marion climbed into the drivers seat while Amy climbed into the passenger seat. It was stormy that night,the was getting really restless in the horse trailer kicking the sides of the trailer he was scared.
Suddenly... they swerved to avoid hitting a deer, then the truck and the trailer started to roll down the nearby in hill. Amy and her Mum Marion were both knocked unconscious. Amy was brought to the nearby hospital there she remained in a coma for 8 days. While sadly her Mum Marion didn't make it the family had the funeral while Amy was in the hospital.
Two days after the funeral Amy final started regaining consciousness. Her Granpa Jack and her sister Lou nervously wait at her bed side. Once she is conscious the first thing she asked about was her Mum. Lou had to break the sad news to her that she had passed away at the scene of the accident. Jack then reached for her hand and told her everything was going to be ok.
A few days after that Amy was well enough to go home but she still had to take it easy for a couple of weeks. She felt like the accident was her fault she convinced her Mum to rescue this horse that may have been a lost cause. She convinced her Mum to do this despite all of the risks she was taking. She felt that she was responsible for her Mums death. She was still grieving about the loss of her Mum when she decided that she was going to carry on her legacy. She wanted to continue her work with horses. Marion left her mark in the world before she died.She died a hero because she died saving a horse.She spent most helping horses with many different problems, her methods saved heaps of horses lives using non traditional ways of healing for example herbal supplements instead of medicine.
Amy wishes to pursue the same career path as her Mum. While Amy is doing her part Lou was handling the money side of things. They worked as a great team for the most part, but of course they were at the end of the day still sisters so they sometimes fought. They of course loved each other dearly.
