Chapter 1: First day

Dreamlight academy

Ash's POV
My name is Ashlyn Rinara, Though, most people just call me Ash. I am a wolf person, it's weird, aside from that, I'm 16 and I have the ability to create fire and levitate things. Neat, huh?
"Wow, this place is huge!" Said Andy, my cousin. He is an angel and is 15 and has the ability to control electricity. We were both invited to a school called "Dreamlight academy", a school located in a pocket dimension, by miss Ayumi White and Karra Nolan. Only those with powers can get invited which is such an honor to be here. "Yeah, it is!" I replied. I notice a sign telling us to go to the front office.

As we enter through the front office we are greeted by a woman named "Camey". "Names?" She says to us, in an annoyed tone. "Andy Rinara" Andy replies, somewhat annoyed by her annoyance. "Ashlyn Rinara" I piped in. She then gets up from her chair and prints out two pieces of paper and puts them in a name tag "Wear them during school hours" she then sits back down and goes back on her computer. She then points at me "Your dorm will me dorm #304." She then points at Andy "Yours is dorm #402." She then hands us both a key for our dorms and goes back to her computer. Andy whispers to me "Well She was rude." I nod in agreement.

We make our ways to our rooms and I place my bag down on an empty bed. The room has four beds, two bunk beds. On the left of the beds is a walk-in closet, with four hanger things, seemingly for each one of the residents. On the right are two doors, each one leading to a shower and a toilet. There is also a sink, two shelves, one, above the sink, the other by the door with TP on it and a mirror above the sink. As I leave the bathroom I see a person walk in, she has short, sky blue hair and pink eyes. "Hello!" She said to me in a slightly high pitched voice. "Hi, I guess we'll be roommates, huh?" I replied. "Yeah! I've never had roommates before so I'm so excited!" She says while walking to the bed I had claimed and climbed the ladder to reach the top bunk, as I had claimed the bottom bunk.

Kyle's POV
My name is Kyle Heart, though, it's not my real name, that shall stay a secret. I'm 18 years old and I am a demon of sorts, I guess. I have shadow-y abilities, such as being able to teleport through the shadows and control them. It's pretty sick. I was invited to Dreamlight academy, a school for magic users. "This is the school?" I say as I float down, I hide my wings although I am unable to hide my tail. "That's annoying. I'll just go to the front desk like that sign said."

As I went to the front desk the lady there sighed, obviously annoyed at my presence. "Name?" "Kyle Heart" I said, a bit annoyed at her as well. She then gets up and prints my name on a piece of paper, puts it in a nametags and hands it to me "Always wear it during school hours" she then goes back to her computer. "Your dorm is #402." She then hands me a key with the numbers 402 on it. I then left for the dorms.

As I entered the dorms I was greeted by an angel boy, great. "Hi there, you're the last guy, right?" He said. "Last guy?" I look around to see two more boys, one, a wolf, the other, another angel. "I guess I am" I said, trying to sound as casual as I could, but inside I was a panicky mess, I mean, you'd be too if you were a demon who was going to be roommates with two angels. I walk to a seemingly unclaimed bed on the bottom bunk and place my bag on it.
