FINAL TRIP

Jhona arrives at a double door entrance, but this door seemed like an entrance for a private function room. Hmm... maybe this was really the way towards the dining area? The staff opened the door for her but Jhona noticed the room was... dark? "A... Are you sure this is the right room?" why would it be so dark if people are dining in the area? Jhona took out her phone but it was already low on battery and eventually shut down. How is she supposed to contact Misaki now? "Certainly, miss. Everyone awaits for your arrival." The staff gestures her to enter the room. She wondered what does the staff meant by 'everyone'.

She enters the room with complete darkness. As the door shuts behind her, the lights suddenly flickers open revealing a group of people awaits for her presence. Jhona adjusts her eyes to the brightness when she came to realize the huge banner hanged behind the crowd.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JHONA!!"

The people shouts in unison and one of them was... Namjoon, who's holding a cake in the middle. "Happy birthday, love." Namjoon approaches his girlfriend still speechless of the surprise. All this time, she thought he really forgot her birthday. She saw Misaki approach her cousin to light the candles on the cake. She was part of the plan all along. After lighting the candle, Misaki went back to her spot beside her husband, Seokjin. Everyone sang her a happy birthday song while clapping along the tune.

"Make a wish," Jhona's tears fell on its own endlessly that they all gathered here to celebrate her birthday. Even her co-attendants were there, they all kept this event a secret and it worked out successfully. She closed her eyes covering her mouth with her hands to prevent sobbing while she made a wish. Everyone applauded when she blew all the candles. "I... can't believe this happening. I thought you really forgot my birthday..." Jhona sobs while she carefully wipes her tears not ruining the makeup.

"Hey, I already told you not to cry!" Misaki scurried over to the couple while Seokjin slowly following his wife. Seokjin got the cake and returned it back to the long table along with different kinds of feast. "There's no way I'll forget your birthday, love. It was so hard not to greet you first thing in the morning. I got everyone's help to make this possible." Seokjin also greeted her a happy birthday and apologized why he wasn't able to do so earlier.

"It was all thanks to me that I kept her company the whole day," Namjoon knew from the beginning that Jhona will be reaching out to Misaki whenever she had problems. So, he asked for his cousin's help to divert Jhona's mind off to something. "Well yeah, but I still paid for all the services you took advantage." Jhona gasped in surprise as she hears this from Namjoon.

The dress she's wearing, the shoes, accessories and the salon service was all from her boyfriend. Except for the dress Misaki was wearing, she had no choice to buy it herself even though it was her own product. "You... didn't really need to do this. I... was only looking forward for you to greet me and hangout just the two of us..." Jhona interrupted the two relatives while they argue about the expenses. "Don't forget I stopped Namjoon from using his phone and I helped decorating this place, even calling me early in the morning!" Seokjin rolled his eyes but he was so proud of his work as he brag about his contribution. "Thanks oppa. Thank you so much for everything... both you and eonni..."

Jhona still couldn't believe that this was happening, she was so pissed off this morning but that all went away the moment she entered the room. It appeared that Seokjin had one friend who worked at the hotel and got to reserve the function room they're in right now.

Namjoon had planned this surprise for months; it was really hard keeping his mouth shut. He also knew that he'll make his girlfriend mad by pretending to forget her birthday, but this was all worth it. The plan paved off real good. "Thank you so much for this, love. It really made my day after you almost ruined it..." and she thought the surprise will end here just like that.
