How I Use My 24Hours

A few months ago, I start to work as part time-barista at one lovely cafe not far from Campus

Lalisa or Lisa for short is my co-worker there, honestly all staff there welcome me so nice, but Lisa is being my bestfriend effortlessly since then

I decide to be a barista almost 2 years ago, I took any courses from severals Coffee-classes & right after I finish all classes I apply to be barista at Aus's Coffee

The reasons I take a job as part time barista is because my parents couldn't afford all my University expense

I study at SNU at Business Major, I enter from scholarship but not fully funded, so I still need to pay a "small" amount of expense & since I don't want to burden my parents then I being a barista, luckyly they accept me as part time, most of it are after my Campus schedule, like from evening to night, but I make it up on Saturday in to the full time work; I get my holiday on Sunday

==Aus's Coffee==

A not so big coffee shop but yet still look nice from outside & comfortable for hang out from inside, the interior is semi-industrial with only concrete wall, exposed ceilling & wooden furniture

I still remember the very first day I came for work in my life, all staff greeted my as well, the briefing was nice, for the first-two hours I only watch how other staff manage the orders, served customers

until come to time our SPV said that I enough watching & need to start served customer as well

I stand behind computer, ready to take my very first order

I was nervous, I didn't know who will be my first customer, how they will like my coffee, so many things come into my mind that moment

Then here is the very first customer comes~

She was so damn beautiful, looks so classy, young & smart

Actually our Coffee Shop has two computer to take the menu for shorted the queue on the peak time or rush hours, but now Lisa beside me was serving her own customer so that beautiful woman is mine

"Aus's Coffee, welcome, what do you want to order?" I smile to her while look right into her

she smile back while take off her sun glasses "Hmmm, what can you suggess for me to order?"

I she has a gummy smile & her eyes are beautiful but look fierce (?) like a cat & why she ask my opinion? She makes my nervous stays longer in me "uhmm...."

She cuckle, maybe because I act weird? "Okay I'll order hot latte then"

"O-ohh, o-okay, one hot latte" I swear I don't know why I'am panick & shuttered, I make the order on computer & she keep staring at me; smiling

"Here, I'll bring your hot latte to your table, please wait" I give her the table number

I stamp the grinded coffee & put it into coffee maker then I stirr the milk

"Here is your hot latte, Miss" I give her the latte & receive a thank you from her

When I bow and take a step back she call me again "Sorry, Miss, but what is this?" She pointed her coffee

I back to facing her again "huh? Hot latte, you order it right?"

"Yes, of course I am not forget, but (she smile, showing her gum), I mean what is this?"

"This- as in?"

"Whats image you drew on my latte?"

"Oh, a leaf"

"Leaf??" I know she is hold herself for not laughing

"Yes... I think" why I think I've just made a mistake?

She hold up her cup & showing it to me "but I think it's not a leaf"

I look at it & yes; that's so far from a leaf form 😫

I'm so sad to myself & shame to her

"But I swear I drew a leaf there"

"Hahaha okay okay, thank you for the leaf okay.."

"Uh.. yes"

"How many cup you've made today"

"Yours is my first"

"This?"

"Yes"

"So I am your first customer today?"

"Hmm yes"

"Hey, do you only say YES to people?"

"Uh?" I feels so embarrased right now

"Ok, let me taste this very first cup of yours then" She take a sip of her latte quietly "I'll give you 10 score for the taste, cause it really good, but I'll give you 7 for the leaf, so better you draw me a real leaf when I come here next time okay?"

"Yess"

"Hey! You say yes again!"

"Hmm.. Sorry"

We laugh together

little did I know that was how we met and she always come to our Coffe Shop

(almost) everyday
