I walked through the hallway trying to get out the door in to the fresh air of the weekend. I squirmed through a patch of kids and ran to the group of people I loved most in the world.
"What took u so long?" Joe asked.
" I had to ask Mrs.Henry a good question" I answered. We walked to my house bundled together.
I opened the door of my house and invited them in. Lily sat down on the couch while Sarah tripped and fell on top of her. "Wait for me!" Chris shouted jumping on top of them.
" noo" Lily shouted laughing. Me and Joe stood back and laughed at all of them.
"I made cookies!" My mom yelled from inside the kitchen. The group speeded out of the living room right to the cookies. Sarah knocked over Chris and he stood up laughing. Chris grabbed the cookies and headed up to my room.
We landed on my bed and stuffed our faces with cookies until we were all to full to eat a crumb. Tonight was exciting, we were all sleeping over at my house. I was excited this was our first night all together.
We all finally settled in in our sleeping positions and started to talk but soon I drifted away to sleep. To the chatter of my friends.
