Struck by a gentle force, Tammy rubbed her eyes to bring herself back into reality. Slowly she recovered and stared at the eyes of the intruder.
"Hey! Lectures are over, you slept through the class " The green eyed boy said chuckling gently .
" Hmm" she replied mumbling. incoherently
"You must be tired, Come on pretty girl, let's get you home" He said helping her to steady her
feet
"Thanks, I'm grateful but you don't have too, my dorm isn't quite far and besides it's dead drunk" Tam said pulling her hands away from the stranger
"At least let me get you down the hallway safely " he tried again
"No problemo , I'm good ! I can most definitely..........";
"T! Where have you been? i was worried sick " Julie interrupted the conversation
"Hey Jules ! Hold on" she said facing the green eyed boy
" I've got to go, thanks for caring to wake me " she said smiling a little
" You wouldn't mind giving me your number" He replied handing his phone over
Laughing slightly I said I did mind, then bidding a final goodbye to the green eyed stranger she walked towards Jules
" Who is he? He is kinda cute" Jules asked
"I don't know, he woke me up " Tam replied nonchalantly
"Way to make a good first impression" Jules joked
"I did feel like sleeping beauty though, I woke up abruptly when shaken by my dear prince charming" Tam said, they both burst out laughing
" You slept through the class right?" Jules asked inquisitively
" Yes I did! " Tam said with a sigh
" You should really start studying you know, ever since mama, you just lost the zeal for anything. You need to talk about it'' Jules said with a worried face
" I'm good b, I'm good! " Tam tried reassuring her bestie as they drove off the school 's campus to Switches.
Switches is a diner close to campus where most people from college like to hangout in between and after lectures. They soon talked about New York and how they would love to live in one of the sub urban houses, They talked about their dream jobs and everything they could think about.
*Beep* *Beep* Tam phone beeped showing a notification from one of the numerous dating sites Jules added her into.
Sighing she asked " Why do you keep adding me into dating sites? You know I don't like that"
"It doesn't matter Tam, you need a love life and seriously with the help of Jen and Palesa we would make this last year of college a memorable one for you"
Jules replied sighing
"I don't really care" Tam said
"baby girl I see you sigh every time you see Me and Daniel kiss"
Palesa said dropping her bag while side hugging Jules.
"You are not serious, that's because I'm irritated by the PDAs " Tam said pouting with her hands folded
With a eyeroll Palesa just smiled
replying with
"Sure whatever you say"
Time passed gradually, Daniel picked Palesa then they they decided it was time to go back to their dorm.

"Hey! You're back'' Natalie, Tam roommate said picking up her jacket
"Yup I am! You are going somewhere? " Tam asked falling flat on her bed
"Just a blind date" Natalie replied smacking her lips together as she took a final glance at herself
"Do I look okay?" She asked
Rolling her eyes Tam replied
" You look good enough to feast on, I thought Blind dates aren't your thing?" she then asked
" They are never my thing babe, Nothing is! No one is! College isn't either baby girl " Natalie replied smiling a bit
" We both know your classes are In distinction so i don't know what you are saying, enjoy your date and buy me Pizza on your way back. "
"I will Tam, have a good night" Natalie said with a smug smile as she walked to the door
" You are definitely snagging someone this night right?
I should have noticed earlier, is it even a Blind date?" Tam asked as she sat up looking at Natalie with interest
" Okayyyy! He doesn't know me exactly but I do, I mean I ........."
"Shut up!!! You aren't talking about Kevin right? Wow! " Tam interrupted with excitement
Kevin has been Natalie crush since 2months back and trust me she has been crazy over him.
''Awwn! My baby got her man" I said teasingly
"No! I mean! Umm! It's like a hangout,I don't know." Natalie said with her head facing the floor.
"Just the two of you?" I asked giggling
"Yeah!" She replied with a small smile
"It's a date then, Wozaa" jumping off my bed then picking up my nude bag to find my lucky perfume, weird right?
"I get to use Mama's perfume" Natalie said laughing
"Yes you do mi amor" I giggled spraying the perfume on her wrists
"You do know I can do this myself" She said with a small smile on her face
"What's Mama's touch if she doesn't do it herself " I said pouting, this time applying some on her neck line
"Besides this is your good luck charm"
"What?" She asked confused " You mean Who? That's me baby, I am the charm" I clicked my tongue then told I was done, sending her kisses when she picked up her bag to leave.
Sighing I went back to bed with my earphones plugged in.
