We walked down a long hallway I watched Akane and Kira were scolded by our groups perfect Seo when they knocked on the doors and ran off. It was to much fun to pass up the dorm wing is long with so many group dorms. they stop knocking on the doors when we get closer to the exit knowing the littles (the schools' nickname for the youngest group) are still sleeping. We joke around how it must be nice to sleep in and have to walk the shortest distance. Akane Kira and I weren't raised in the hall like Seo. Kira and I were left at a local orphanage, Akane never talked about her family she wrote them letters and called them sometimes so they were alive we just don't know what they did.

The building was set up like a castle. The castle was divided into half the girls lived on the left side while the boys lived on the right. The front of the school has a few rectangular buildings that are the schooling area. In the back is the dining hall and in the middle of the two was the dorm wing. This made for easy access from the sleeping chambers to the whole hall. In the center of the wings was the indoor training there were red mats with blue rings lined across the floor a rectangular tumble trampling against the side of the wall along with an assortment of mats of all shapes to teach us tumbling. Above the training grounds were the offices. There was a strict hierarchy system and where your office was placed said how important you were. on the outer circle of offices were deans they had 4 in total 2 for each side of the hall. Above the deans are the task takers they arranged the bills and like the name says fulfilled important tasks just above the task takers are the assistants the president had quite a few assistants from what we know 15 give or take. Above the assistants is the president he arranges all the meetings and competitions etc. above him the founder. He is the most important man in the school he founded Artemis hall. No one knows what he does but it is believed he reports to the council and reports everything.

As soon as we finished our breakfast we headed upstairs so we could meet with the rest of our team. It was pretty boring considering the meeting was just about the mysterious new girl. Ryujin (our team leader he has the highest ranking) Kira the girls' group leader and Seo the girls' group perfect (group leaders had a higher ranking than group perfects Seo was just.. well.. perfect so she wanted to help). They were making sure all the arrangements were made witch left the teams only 2 littles playing around while the rest of us were just talking. I walk over to Yung a boy my age that I had a crush on probably since forever. I could never confess to him for many reasons though not only did I just simply not have the courage too but dating is strictly forbidden within the martial arts hall and even more importantly its against the law for anyone under 18 to date ever since the councils' decision to control the population size. its a commonly broken law outside the hall though. The guardians don't have time to deal with every couple and there forbidden romance.

Yung and I are best friends when we make eye contact he starts walking over to me as well I sit criss-cross on the floor and he joins me we start talking about how school projects and out of nowhere he hits me with a question I didn't realize would make me as angry as it did.

"what do you think the new girl will be like?"

what why does he want to know? does he mean what will she look or act like? no way surly he means what her greatest skill set will be? right, why would he care? Okay, ill answer calmly with a hint of curiosity.

"hmm maybe she'll be a sparer like me," I said with just passively enough to end the conversation.

"oh what if shes Japanese like me. Just because we all have to have an Asian name doesn't justify me being the only Japanese on the team"

He gives a light laugh I get a little jealous true we all have to have Asian stage names some weird rule the founder of the school made. there was a boycott to end it but when it reached the founder it was immediately shut down by the council ever since then everyone just stopped caring. I get mad does he have anything against me being Hispanic! Yung was never the type of person to judge someone based on the heritage in the war. I can't believe it I get even madder. I.m about to go come up with some excuse to leave I much as I liked him he seemed to just have no filter. I look over and see chi playing with the group littles Zhu and Akio. Zhu and Akio are prodigies making the ace team at only 8 and 9 years old. They were raised in the orphanage with the rest of us. Most people on this team weren't raised here. The only ones who were raised here are Seo Yung Devi and Ryujin. It is a miracle that both brothers made it here.

"hey, what are you thinking about? hello, pretty girl you there?" I don't know what it is but when he calls me pretty I forgive him something about the way he says it makes me feel like the only girl in the world

"You don't like Chi right?" he says with an edge.

"haha of course not" I hit him playfully on the shoulder. I always liked the way he would say that like I was his and only his. Kira warned me of this but I thought it was simply because she was never in a relationship she didn't know how nice it felt knowing I was only his.
