Trollstopia Special: A Troll's Valentine

Chapter 7

The Funk Family was trying to tend to Poppy when they saw her stress-booking.

King Quincy said, "Poppy, I get you're a little heartbroken, but don't you think this is getting a little out of hand?"

Poppy replied, "I don't know what you mean."

They all looked at a scrapbook page of Branch falling into a pit of lava.

Prince D said, "Well, maybe you don't."

Poppy just said, "I don't get it. I mean, what happened today?"

Queen Essence said, "Well, it's obviously his loss. You are a beautiful, courageous, and strong young lady."

Poppy said, "You know what? You're right. As of right now, I am over it."

But then, something tumbled out of the trees and in front of them.

It was the head of Poppy's parade float.

Poppy gasped, "What in the world?"

On it, she saw the blueprints for a parade float...with Branch's handwriting.

"Oh, Branch."

Just then, she heard his voice.

"Come on, Guy. I need that potion."

Poppy said to the Funk Family, "Excuse me while I patch things up with my man."

Guy said to Branch, "I can only give it to you if you swear a lifetime of loyalty."

Branch said, "Ok, deal."

But, before they shook hands...

"Don't you make that deal, Branch."

Tiny said, "Well, I guess this meeting's over. Come on, Daddy."

When they both left, Poppy said to Branch as she held up the blueprints, "Okay, this is like the sweetest thing that anyone's ever tried to do for me."

Branch sadly said, "Yeah, until I ruined it."

Poppy replied, "Actually, it was my own fault for jumping to the wrong conclusion. I'm the one who ruined it. But, all I needed to know was that you were thinking about me."

Branch smiled, "Oh, trust me. I was."

They both smiled and had a moment.

Just then, Riff came in with Barb's card, "Well, here's someone none of us were thinking about."

They both made embarrassed looks.

Riff then said, "But, I think I know how to make it right."

Barb was with Debbie.

She still had a bad smell on her.

"Who needs friends when I've got my girl with me?"

But, she saw a card next to her, "'I'm sorry'?"

She then saw a trail of cards.

She followed them and saw Poppy, Branch, Riff, and the whole gang in front of her.

Riff spoke first, "I would make a hundred cards if you would only forgive me...or something."

But, Barb answered, "No...it's not how many cards you get. It's who you get them from."

Everyone came in for a group hug.

But then, the others started sniffing.

Trollex said, "Wow. No offense, but you stink!"

Queen Essence said, "You need a bath."

Cooper said, "In turpentine!"

But then, Tiny announced, "Ladies and gentlemen..."

Branch said, "Oh, not again!"

Tiny continued, "The Troll of Love is back with his brand new bottle of..."

Guy revealed a bottle of Love Potion #7.

"And the lucky Troll who gets to try it first will be..."

He launched an arrow at Branch, but he managed to repel it.

The arrow hit the bottle.

It broke and spilled all over Guy.

"It's ok! There's still some left! Now, who wants it?"

But, the potion caused him to lose his hair.

Everyone groaned in disgust.

"That is disgusting!"

"Oh, that's a nightmare coming."

Riff took off his hat and threw it to Guy, "Here, dude. You need this more than me."

Guy immediately put the hat on and was clearly embarrassed.

Poppy said to him, "Guy, enough with the love potion. If you want more attention, just say so."

Guy thought and said, "That might work."

Everyone sighed with relief.
