Damon has always been jealous of Luke. Luke is older, more dangerous. He just can't accept the fact that we love each other very much. He's my world and Damon has to learn how to share, and he doesn't get that. He doesn't like sharing. I shook my head, trying to shake all my bad thoughts out of my head, today will be a great day. I put on my new sweater that I bought yesterday, taking in the soft texture. Even though it's starting to warm a little I can't let go of my sweaters, even if I wanted to. I checked myself over in the mirror, I had to double check to make sure the events from yesterday weren't showing. I made my way back to my room, and sat down on my bed. I went through my mental list making sure I wasn't missing anything.

"Perrie."
Knowing who it was I didn't turn to look at him. I didn't have to. I just sat on my bed, staring at the floor.
"What,Damon?"
"I wanted to apologize for what I said last night. I shouldn't have said those things." His voice was soft, really soft.
I looked down, playing with my sleeve.
"D,don't." I said, softly. "It's okay."
"Really?" He met me by my bed as I stood up. His eyes met mine.
"Yes, I know I shouldn't have asked you to help me, it's not fair to you."
"Perrie, I don't do it because you ask me to. I do it because I want to. It makes you happy and I love it when you smile."
"You are too sweet." I hugged him, pulling him close. "You don't have to do it anymore, if you don't want to."
He pulled from my hug and took a step back so he could face me.
"I want to make sure you get off that roof safely and that you make it home safely. I'm not saying he will do anything but things can happen Perrie and I don't really know what I would do with myself if I lost my best friend."
"You are seriously the best, I don't deserve you."
He smiled widely, his whole face lighting up before he pulled me into a second hug. His arms tightly around me as if he were trying to protect me from all of my problems. I breathed in his scent, his smell always takes me to a safe place. He pulled away from our embrace, it lasted longer than I expected.
"So are you ready for hell?"

"More than I'll ever be." I grabbed my bag off the bed.
"Well, I guess we should go get Jesy then."
"On word soldier!" I yelled, pointing my arm to the ceiling.
Damon chuckled as we headed out the door.

Jesy, hurry your ass up!" I yelled as she made her way to the car slowly.
"I'm coming you bitch!" She paused for a minute and then did her best runway walk to the car. I laughed as she climbed into Damon's Mercedes.
"So one more month until we are free from this hell hole!" She said, as Damon hit the gas, making all our heads jerk back.
"Hell yeah!" Damon said. "I'm so over school!"
"I second that! It'll be a good month." I said. "I can graduate and then move in with Luke" I knew once those words left my mouth, they shouldn't have.
"Wait, say what?" Damon glanced at me quickly. Jesy sounded like she was choking in the seat behind me.
"Luke asked me to move in with him after graduation."
"Seriously? You're joking right." Jesy did not look amused.
"No, I'm not joking and I'm going to."
Jesy's face turned white, snow white. "Perrie, you've only known the guy for five months, that is way too soon." She said.
"We love each other!" I said, practically yelling. "I already made my decision, nobody can stop me."
"Perrie, listen. This is dumb." Damon pulled the car over a block away from school. "You can't move in with a guy you barely know."
"Damon, you aren't my mother!" I was starting to get angry. I couldn't believe this was happening.
He looked at me. "I know, Perrie. You have a life ahead of you. What about Vet school? He'll only hold you back."
"Damon, no one is holding me back, except for you!" He flinched and I climbed out of the car.
"Perrie, stop." Jesy said. "Please."
"Look if you aren't going to support me then why are you even here?"
"Perrie, you know I am happy for you. I want nothing but happiness for you." Jesy said. I sighed and walked onward toward the school, leaving Damon and Jesy yelling after me. They are supposed to be my best friends, supporting me no matter what decision I make. They should be happy for me, for us."
