A Percy Jackson Fanfic: The New Army

Back At Last

I wake up early for once not having a dream. I found it odd but I didn't think any further on it. Lily was back today! I get up and look at the time, my face slackens when I realize I normally meet Harry at this time. I feel and urge to go, but then I think about yesterday. The anger that had been bumbling up inside of me since then powers forwards and to the beach. Harry is already there waiting nervously and I know he has seen me. I walk towards him and just as he turns around I punch him hard in the face, now a mortal punch wouldn't have been as painful but us Gods seemed to have bones made out of iron, so when I did hit him I was expecting much of an injury in my hand but I could feel it tingling and aching. Harry was rubbing his jaw but it didn't look that painful, he hides a nose bleed but it doesn't matter,

"I trusted you! And now I see everything! You and your mum! Yesterday in the woods! She wanted you to get to know us and find out about things! Your just like they were before everything changed! And now that Lily and Dom are so loved up and everything you thought I would be an easier target! I pity you! And I will make sure when your death comes there will only be pain and punishment!" I spit out at him. He looks shocked and horrified as well as sad but I don't care, he brought this on his own. Why did he have to be so Gods damn cute then? I sigh and walk off ignoring his protests,

"Harry! Leave her! It's for the best!" I here Athena say behind me. I stop and turn around taking my javelin out my hand, Athena doesn't back down,

"You are nothing but a medelar trying to get to know everyone and get under everyone's skin to find their darkest secret! Do you want to know what mine is?" I ask laughing like a maniac, "its the fact that I used to like your messed up son next to you!" I say and I fly off not looking back.

I wait at the big house patiently wanting to see Lily. Luckily Dom had been called to go and see his farther so I could chat with her before he gets back. I see movement coming from the boarder I look up and see Lily and Hayley walking towards us, I smile and I see her running towards me,

"Gabby!" She shouts,

"Hey Lily" I say as she crushes me in a hug, her purple hair blocking my vision.

"Are you okay?" She asks I nod my head not really wanting to talk about it in public. She pulls away, "where's Dom?" She asks,

"Olympus, his dad called him," I say, she nods her head,

"Well then come on, you can help me unpack!" She says and walks off to her cabin with me following.

As we are unpacking Lily seems to be really happy, it makes me wonder were she has gone,

"So what's up? Really?" She asks, I sigh,

"They know about my mom and my friend. My friend... Betrayed me. And the dreams... I'm worried about them I'm not screaming anymore! I don't know why either!" I say letting it all out, her face morphs into pity but she tries to hide it from me.

"Well I will help you whatever!" She says, I smile missing her. Someone lands outside so it must've been Dom. He walks in and looks at Lily smiling. I stand up,

"I'll leave you!" I say, "but don't blame me if you get told off from breaking the rules!" I say as I walk out the door. I walk to the arena and practice on my own, people watch me because I'm a oh so mighty God and that seems to have natural skill. It can be fun... But it is annoying as well.

I sigh a sweat hasn't even started and its mid afternoon. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around and point my sword at the person who touched me. I growl when I see it is Harry, what's this boys problem? Can't he tell I hate him? Does he not know to talk to a God if they hate him? His eyes are filled with nervousness,

"Gabby? Can you put the sword down and just let me talk to you?" He asks,

"I wouldn't talk to you if you where the last person on earth!" I spit pointing my sword closer to his throat. He gulps,

"What if I showed you something?" He asks hopefully,

"Why don't you show it here? In front of everyone else?" I reply, he just shakes his head and walks off into the woods. He looks back hoping I will follow but I don't I just glare at him.
