Have you ever wondered what it would be like go be a character in a math word problem? Such as " John bought 57 cantaloupes. He eats 15 and gives away 3. How many cantaloupes does he have now? " Those questions were you have no idea why someone would do that. So now to get onto the story about Phillip the math problem.

Phillip as you may know is like I said, a math problem, but he has if you would say " powers" he is in every problem that mentions his name. So the story starts off with Phillip buying pies, 94 to be exact. The setting is in Italy.

" 93 sounds about right!" Tells Phillip to the cashier.

"93?" He replies.

" Oh! Thanks for reminding me! Throw in another one for the kids. "

The cashier just mutters and looks confused and throws another pie in the crate.

"Would you liked these pies shipped directly or bring them with you? The cashier wonders.

" I'll carry them" says Phillip.

Now that the backstory is over here is the problem that people would read.

" Phillip just has bought 94 cantaloupes. He is walking home with them when 5 fall of, then he sees three people and gives away 3. When he is almost home he trips and 27 cantaloupes roll away. He finally gets home and eats 12. How many cantaloupes does he have now.

" phew! I save big bucks on not shipping. " he says to himself wiping the sweat off his forehead. He hears the cantaloupes fall and he spins around. He bends down to grab them and a donkey behind him leans down and eats them.

" Well then there goes 5. " He continues walking until he sees some hitchhikers they look hungry so he gives them each a cantaloupe. He is almost home when suddenly

" Ooof!!"

He trips and tumbles down a hill losing 27 cantaloupes in the process.

He finally makes it home and plops down in the kitchen.

" Finally! I'm starved! " He pulls 12 cantaloupes out and chows down.
