Chapter 2

Chapter 2 - The Incident

"Uraraka-chan."

A person's voice echoed in her head.

"Urarka-chan." It repeated.

"Uraraka-chan, wake up!"

Ochako then woke up from her daydream from the abrupt wake up call from Tsuyu. Once she woke up, she noticed that she was still in class. Did she fall asleep in the middle of class? That was very unlikely of her.

"A-Asui-san." She said in a sleepy voice, as a yawn came out from her mouth. "S-Sorry for sleeping."

The other asked. "What time did you sleep last night?"

"I didn't sleep at all." She answered back, rubbing her eyes. 

Tsuyu replied with a sigh. "What were you doing last night?"

She said, facing at her with her eyes closed. "Studying."

"Uraraka-chan! Please get more rest, you don't look so good today." She told her with a concern expression.

"Yeah, yeah, I know that. I'll sleep tonight, don't worry." 

"But, Uraraka-chan."

"Hm?"

Tsuyu stared at her and said. "You do remember that the party's tonight, right?"

Ochako's eyes suddenly opened widely and sat down properly. "Yeah, I knew!" She said out loud which had flustered the whole class. She then lowered down her tone. "Y-Yeah, now that you mentioned it, can I drop by at your place first?"

"Why? Is it because you don't want to enter alone?" With that, Ochako nodded in return which made Tsuyu chuckled. "Sure, no problem. Just come by before 4."

The brunette beamed a smile at her.

After school had ended, Ochako waved goodbye to Tsuyu before departing back to her home. Once she arrived home, she immediately ran into her room and went straight to the closet.

"W-What should I wear?" She asked herself. 

I don't usually go to big parties or hang outs before so I don't usually dress up and I have no sense of fashion these days. I wonder if people still wear these jeans?

Ochako then thought of something.

"Maybe a gown would be nice!"

A moment of silence has filled the room until she collapsed of the floor. "This is no good. I don't know what to wear."

She then grabbed her phone and started searching what to wear. "I need to wear something nice, I might end up meeting cute guys there."

After a few hours of searching, she decided to just wear a simple looking dress that her mother has bought for her on her birthday a few years ago. It was a pink sundress with flower designs. 

"I-I never wore this for a while, I wonder if it still fits." Ochako said as she looked at the dress, hesitant to try it on.

"Ochako, did you have lunch alread-" The bedroom door opened, appearing Ochako's mom. Her mom then saw Ochako holding her sundress with her eyes widened by her abrupt entry in her room.

"M-Mom." She called out.

The mom's face soon sparkled after realizing what her daughter was doing. "Ochako! Are you finally going to wear the dress I gave you?" She said it with a big smile, approaching her. "I remember you mentioned that you were going somewhere today. Are you trying to find an outfit to wear? If that's the case, then this dress would look good! Come, I'll help you!"
