Fate Will Bring Us Back Together

~CHAPTER 2~

You both drove to the store where your dress was being made but unexpectedly on the way there your car broke down. Jimin had to leave you in a Cafe which was a few blocks away from where you are right now while he tries to fix the car.

When you arrived in the Cafe you sat near the window while waiting for the waitress to take your order. In a few minutes a lady wearing an apron approached you and took your order. You ordered iced Americano and a lemon cake then waited for it to be served.

You looked out the window where you can see the pond behind the Cafe. It looked so calm and many families went there for picnic and fishing.

A man in a suit caught your eyes, he looked gloomy and sad. He was looking at the families enjoying their time with their kids. You felt his sadness and jealousy to the people there. You were shocked when the man suddenly look to your way.

You quickly averted your gaze not to let him see you her staring at him. You took a peek again but when you looked he wasn't there anymore. 'Was he a ghost?' you thought to yourself.

*JUNGKOOK POV*

I was standing by the lake observing everyone around it. They looked so happy with their families and friends while I am here all alone with just a photo of you in my hands.

'if only I protected you well, if only I didn't leave, if only I was better I wouldn't have lost you. Maybe Jimin hyung is right. I should just have gave you to him then you wouldn't have died.' I thought to myself.

For some reasons I feel like someone was actually staring at me from behind so I looked back and found a woman staring at me. When she realized that I was actually looking at her already she averted her gaze to a different direction.

This woman had a huge similarities with Rachelle when I look at her from behind. Could it be her? I have to take a look.

I took a step towards her but asoon as I did my phone started buzzing. It was a call from my assistant.

"Mr. Jeon good news! We have traces of the Young Mistress Jung already, please come to XXX hospital already. I'll be waiting for you in ward 56." he spoke making me excited. Finally I have traces of my Rachelle already, after 5 years of searching I finally got a clue!

I went back to look at where the woman was sitting but as soon as I reach there, she wasn't there anymore. She probably left already or maybe I was just hallucinating that there was a woman that looked exactly like Rachelle.

I just shrug the thought and quickly drove to the hospital were there was a chance where I can find a clue about my Rachelle.

*Meanwhile back in the cafe*
(Y/N POV)

My phone started buzzing, it was Jimin. "Y/N, honey the designer just called me saying he needs to be out of town and we need to hurry now. I called a taxi already I'm waiting for you outside." he spoke and quickly hung up. I gathered my stuff and headed out not to make Jimin wait any longer.

We arrived at the shop and I quickly apologized to the designer for being late and messing up her schedule. In return she just laughed and told me  she wasn't even going out of town. This made me really confused. Why did Jimin lie to me earlier? Was he trying to hide something from me or was he just in a hurry? Gosh this is wrong I should trust Jimin the most. He's the one who takes care of me the most for the past years. He was always there so I don't need to be suspious of him.

*Back to Jungkook's POV*

I finally arrive in the hospital and rushed to the ward where my assistant was waiting for me. There  he was with a old man in his 50s who's laying in bed and his wife. The old man sat up and looked tried to fix himself.

"Are you Mr.Jeon Jungkook?" the man asked and I just nodded. "I save a woman 5years ago who looked like the one in the photo shown by your assistant earlier. She was full of bruises and was wearing a red floral dress when I found her. She begged me to take her with me. I felt pity for her so I took her with me. In the middle of the drive a truck crashed to us. I lost consciousness then and I don't what happened to the woman already but according to the nurses I was brought here alone. If only I woke up earlier I you would have already fond the lady. " He explained to me.

" Don't worry you are a great help already now. I will help you with your medical bills. Thank you for helping my girlfriend that time. Sorry for the damage we've caused you. " I spoke wihile bowing to him.

" Dong yue, ask namjoon hyung to check the surveillance cameras where the car crash happened. If it's already deleted then hack the system. I know you can do this." I instructed him.
