Chapter 2

3rd Person POV.
Perseus grabbed his head due to sudden head ache when he woke up. He found himself in the bed, he knew that he was at the Hestia Palace so he didn't Panicked. He laid down again memory flashed through his brain. A few tears even sled down his face. "I will cry no more" he said to himself as he wipe away the tear with his sleeves. He got up and took a quick shower to clean himself and changed into the fresh set of clothes. He silently thanked hestia and walked out of his room toward kitchen to get something to eat. When he got to kitchen counter there was a note waiting for him, "Perseus since you're my champion so you have powers to summon food, and healing yourself too, since i am at a meeting right know. I want you to take these weapon, he read as the silver coloured bow, daggers and sword appeared in front of him, and train yourself as i fear something Great and Ancient is brewing. And also wear these clothes, he read as a set of assassin clothes appeared in front him, and fire travel to California for further assessment", he finished his breakfast which he summoned while reading the note.
He put on the clothes hestia teleported for him, and teleported to California where he was welcomed by Arrows heading toward his direction. He dodged all of them, trying his best not to get hit by them. When he finished dodging all them arrows he was tackled in a large group hug from every one. Once they all got off him, he heard Phoebe saying, "Welcome home,brother" which made him groan inward. Phoebe, at first, was very angry at Perseus for not able to save Zoe, after some explanations and few special treatment, which included slapping him and yelling at his face for a good measure of time, he embraced her as she broke down in tears, she felt so weak and vulnerable that, specific time, she fell asleep on his shoulder. Being such a gentle man, he silently and carefully tucked her in the bed, giving a brotherly kiss on her forehead and came out of the Tent. Since that day she became sisterly figure for him besides Artemis and Thalia. At noon hestia came and gave him his first assignment, he was to rescue a ten years old girl. He flashed to the address. He appeared outside a old looking apartment which had brown colour and paint were tearing down the wall. Foul smell of drugs and alcohols hit his nostrils causing him to frown. He decided to approach more civilly, he knocked on the door, only to be opened by a man about forty years old. "I am here for the girl said Perseus in deep voice. "No, you won't get her and get off my property before i kill you" man said as he took out his pistol and aimed at his head. Percy smirked as he made bullet flew past him without even touching him. The man started to felt fear as he saw Perseus smiled widening, he tried to run away, Perseus suddenly lunged at him and punched him at his guts, not giving him time to respond. He knocked the man out and turned to find the little girl, he came for. He found her cowering in the corner with fear. He gently sat beside her, "hey, you're safe now, he won't hurt you anymore" Percy assured her softly. On the other hand little girl was still vary of the stranger but his gentle posture and calm voice was forcing her to drop in into his embrace and cry her heart out and spill out all of her pain in the words. Before she could decide what to do, she was suddenly pulled into hug by the stranger which whispered comforting words into her ears. She was stiff at first but soon melted into his embrace and started to cry. While the younger girl was crying in his hug, Perseus tapped into his patron power and saw into her memory. Her starting memory when she had a great time from her birth to the time of her parent death which was suspicious enough for Perseus. His suspicious was soon confirmed. When he saw, her dream in which her uncle was beating her senselessly near to the death, and confessing that he killed his parents. Because she was near fainting she couldn't caught on what her uncle was saying. After seeing her all her memory, he stopped using his memory and found the little girl already fallen asleep on him. He kissed her forehead and teleported himself and girl to his mom palace in his room. He tucked her in the bed and covered her in blanket and teleported back to her uncle apartment to finish the unfinished business.
