" Now students before you go I want to remind you that your assigment is due on Friday"
huh
The students all got up from their table and though the door. I was m first year in law school and first day and I have no friends. You can only imagine how that feels, so lonely. My first class for the day was torts and I was not surprised to hear that the Latin root of the word means "twisted". AS for the assignment am supose to write a four hundred word essy about the subject.
I walked to the cafeteria using the map of the school. I was so hungry. As I neared the cafeteria I smelled the delicious aroma that found its way to my nose that my tummy made a weird noise than I realsed I had nohng for breakfast.
" What will you have?" a lady over the counter dressed in full yellow asked
" I will have a bun and cheese and a hawiian punch" I said
"Give me wo minutes" she said went to go get my order. Suddenly I hit into something hard and turned around to see a girl on the floor so I helped her up, she was dressed in a purple and green dress with a big black bag and looks to be green three inch heel slippers.
"sorry adout that, I wasn't lookng where I was going"
"Your forgiven"
" Are you new here?"
" Was it that ovious?"
" You have a map of the whole school in your hand, so yea" she said sweatly and I looked my hand,
oooohh I gursss I didn't realise that only new students have them.
"So that means the both of us are new." I said and we laughed. At that moment the lady that took my order appeared, gave me my food and I paid her.
" By the way my name is Terry" I said
" I'm Nala and..... wanna have lunch together?" she said
"Sure"
We walked to the only empty table we saw and sat down. The place was jam packed with students, each banch was painted in a maroon colour, the walls white and at the far corner of the room was the school's matto 'SUCCESS COMES WITH DETERMINATION' written on the wall big bold letters. Me and Nala started talkng about random things when the bell rang, signaling the end of my lunch.
why now?
"Thats my bell" I said sadly as our conversion was over
"Me too. I have Constitutional Law class for the day" feeling the same as me
"Me too" my eyes lit up. We walked to class together througth the long multi-coloured halls when Nala stopped dead in her tracks infront the bathroom.
"Have to use the bathroom"
"I'll what for you here, okay?"
"Thanks."
She went in the bathroom and I was left standing by myself observeing the different people walking the halls. The halls were full different types of people from all over the world, some with long straight hair or saggy and others looked....well, weird. I was standing there for about twenty minutes and counting waiting for Nala. How could one person take so long to pee? Or maybe the bathroom was full?
"Move" I heard a voice beside me so I turned to look and thats when I say a girl dressed in full black with yellow braids in her hair.
"Execues me." I said
"Move" she said again
"why sould I?" I asked rudly, in the exact same tone as her
"Am not explaining myself to you." I turned around and acted like no one was there, than I realized I was standing infont the water fontain that she wanted to use but still did not move. Why? because that is not how you ask someone to move. I wonder if the school has a class to teach people how to communicate with others, she could really use some of that. I so Nala come out the bathroom and I walked over to her.
"Gave up the fight?" Miss do-not-have-any-manners said
"No, actually I do not stand beside freaks" was my reply and me and I walked off with my new friend following me.
"What was that girl talking about?" I filled her in on what happened as we reached the wooden door that led to the classroom she open it to find that the teacher not inside. We walked in and took a seat at the front beside each other. Two minutes later a lady, who I assumed was the teacher walked in, interoduced sheself as Missis Blackfire and started the class which turned out to be really interesting.
After the class Nala and I exchanged phone numbers and headed to our saperate dorm roorm. As I neared my room I heared noises.
hear we go again!
What is wrong with thoughs two?
I seriously don't think there will ever be a day when thoughs two will ever get along. How I know this? Well............
