I place the cup on the floor and start rubbing my belly and caress it protectively while savoring these last moments I have with my close friends and of course my younger sister Alex. "Jay stop, I'm not in the mood", I turn my head up to see Alex getting off her boyfriend's lap. "Baby please" "Like I said, I'm not in the mood so stop forcing me to do something I'm not comfortable with" "Alex, please, you can't say you don't want it unless you give me a shot to prove you wrong baby" I watch him kissing her roughly and forcing her to kiss back. I know it's wrong for me to just be sitting here and watching him do that all against my sister's will- but I'm sure she'll give in. At least I hope she well. Either way I won't know the outcome. I take one last sip of my drink, place it on the little glass table in front of me and stand up. "I think I'm gonna use the restrooms- I'll be back", Angie nods at me before going back to her conversation with her boyfriend, Noah. I sigh shakily. This is it- I'm leaving it all behind. And start fresh- with a new me. Instead of proceeding to the restroom, I quietly slip out through the front door and make my way to the side of Angie's house. With every step I take further away from that house- my feet feel heavier, my head's feeling light, my eyes are aching and itching a bit. Gosh I feel- like my heart's crumpling tensely and aching. I come to face a blue corvette, with a familiar person in the driver's seat. I sigh, relieved of all the hell I'll never have to go through again- live freely and happily, without being judged. I get into the passenger seat and slouch into the seat as I turn my head to my everything. "You ready?", she looks into the distance as she gently intertwines her fingers in mine. "Ready as I'll ever be", I reply back while pressing a soft kiss onto her hand. She turns her head to me and smiles, gosh I love her smile more than anything in the world. "That's my girl"
