Meteor Fall

Ok so this is my first story that I've writen, so if you could please comment and rate it telling me what you think. Hope you enjoy it.

            "Honey you're going to be late for school!" My mother shouted from downstairs. I rolled over in my bed and groaned at the fact that it was already Monday and I didn't want to get up just yet. I rolled out of bed and fell to the ground as I realized I was tangled in my blue and black covers and sheets. "Stupid Flying monkeys..." I muttered as I untangled myself and walked over to the bathroom, which was right next to my room.

          I ran right into the door when I realized it was closed. I went to open it to find it locked. "What the hell?" I said. I heard a hair blower from inside the closed bathroom. "Zoe! Damn it!" I yelled at her. "I have to get ready for school and I really have to pee!" I said as I banged on the door hard.

"You snooze you lose little bro!" She called back laughing.

          I glared and looked back at my room. My bed was a total mess with all my covers on the ground. When it was made though, it looked nice with dark blue sheets folded over the top of the Comforter which was black with dark blue patterns swirling though it. I looked over to my computer which was on the desk next to my bed. I walked over to it to see it was still on so I turned it off. I looked around the rest of my room when I saw something out of place.

Why was my window open?

          I walked over to look out it to see my alarm clock in the front lawn. "Damn, that's the second one this week." I laughed to myself. I heard the bathroom door unlock and a moment later, Zoe walked out with a smirk on her face looking at me. Her blonde hair was straightened, which made it come just below her chest. She had mascara and eye liner on and a little bit of eye shadow, enough to give her a "Smokey" looks. She had on some dark blue skinny jeans and a Dark gray tank top with a black open sweater on over it.

"All yours pip squeak!"

          She laughed as she walked to her room while pulling on her black heel boots that had buckles on them. I scowled after her, but then sighed and grabbed some clothes from my dresser and walked into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror. My light brown hair was sticking in all different directions. I sighed and grabbed the hairbrush, combing through my jungle of what some might call hair. I then jumped in the shower. 10 minutes later I got out and dried myself off the best I could before I slipped some plain black boxers on, and some jeans. I then tried my best to towel dry my hair before brushing through it again.

          I winced in pain when the brush caught on a few tangles but they quickly brushed out. I brushed my teeth and put some deodorant on before throwing on a white tee-shirt. I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my black and white converses and socks before heading downstairs to eat. "Good morning Azurkis!" My mother smiled gently at me as she set my breakfast at my spot on the table. "Morning mom. Morning dad." I greeted both of them. My dad grunted, "You too Jake" but continued to read his paper.

          I sighed and walked over to the table where my sister Zoe, was already half way done eating her eggs and toast. I sat down and started eating my toast while I put my socks and shoes on, and then ate my eggs. "You should probably get going kids. It's already 7 o'clock. I glanced up at the clock by the fridge. She was right. I grabbed my backpack and shoved my books in it that were sitting next to it. "Bye mom! Love you!" I shouted over my shoulder as I headed out the door. "Have a nice day dear, and Zoe, don't forget to take your..." I was already out the door and running to the end of the driveway so I didn't hear the rest of what she said.
