The horse galloped ahead with the speed of lightning. Obeying his master's command.
The night was turning chilly with each passing minute. It was to be expected as it was nearly winters, apart from the fact that they were currently travelling through thick dense forests of Agra.
Jamuna had ceased all her protests as she now lay numb and helplessly on the saddle, still in that uncomfortable in the position.
There was no gentleness in his actions when Ripudaman practically threw her on the saddle before setting off. To where? She knew not. Probably to the fort.
However, at the very moment she could care less.
Her throat was feeling sore from all the crying and screaming that fell on deaf ears. Her eyes were still moist and her vision still felt blurry. Everything was upside down. Along with her life.
Jamuna had always dreamt of a simple and uncomplicated life. But that thought went down the drain when she realised, she loved a prince. And a person in love with a royalty was never supposed to have a life she dreamt of.
But still this was way more far-fetched and complicated even for her.
Ripudaman was being cruel and somewhere in her heart she knew he had every right to be. But it was too much.
Right now, as they drove off to god knows where, her mind was contemplating ways to drive herself out of this situation.
She could only imagine what must've happened after Ripudaman abducted her from her own wedding in front of everyone.
The mere thought of her parents brought a fresh set of tears in her doe eyes.

The house of marriage was in upheaval. Huge crowd had gathered around poor father's house whose daughter was abducted right in front of everyone.
Radha and the other women desperately tried to wake Savitri who had lost her consciousness when Prince Ripudaman rode away with her only daughter.
People were still shocked at how things transpired. But none raised their voice upon seeing the soldiers armed with various weapons. Though it didn't mean they were happy with the situation.
The sarpanch and other respective members of the village had gathered around and were demanding a proper explanation of the situation.
"You can't just barge in an take away our girl like this. It is against the moral conduct. It is adharma." One man cried out as the others nodded head in agreement.
"Being nobility doesn't give them the right to insult our village and our daughter like this." another person spoke.
Hari Narayan, Jamuna's father sat still-stocked. His old mind still dazed at the occurrence. His daughter, his lovely Jamuna she was taken away just like that and he couldn't do anything to stop it from happening.
Whilst his wife lay unconscious from the shock of it.
Saurabh couldn't help but glare at Viplav, who was standing in front of him with a grim expression. His whole family was in upheaval and the person didn't even looked bothered the least. He narrowed his eyes when a haggard Shaurya walked inside.
When he'd returned from his secret meeting with Saraswati, he surely didn't expect to find soldiers and a huge crowd outside his house. He'd overheard from people that some person came and took away Jamuna with him in front of everyone.
Shaurya immediately located his brother as he came beside her. "What's happening bhaiya?"
"Where were you till now? Anyways, just leave it now Shaurya. And for your earlier question some nobility came and took away our sister from her very own mandap."
