chapter 18 : a short thing

" brick, come out" i said. I was on my hands and kenes trying to get brick out for his bath. " no" he just replied. " i'll give you 20 bucks" I said.
" still no" he said. " fine then" I said. I went down stairs to get the vacuum. Before I truned it on, I cast a muteing spell on it. I stuck the grey tupe thing under my bed, and when the poff ball that calls himself brick was in there. I detached the tupe and carried it to the bathroom.

I snapped the cat out of there and into the bathtub. " why do I have to suffer?" He whined as I putted some cat soap in his fur. " you and I both know you could take a shower like the rest of us in your human form, so why don't ya do that?" I sussgted. " I just like to feel special" he said.
" how do you feel special when I give you a bath?" I asked. " well for starters, you give me a bath" he began. As he keep rambling on about how special he think he is.

" dunk your head!".

Brick head was now under water beucase of me. How else shpuld I get the saop out of his fur!? I lefted him finally come up. " what is eorng with you?" He asked. " nothing. I need to wash the saop out" I answred. " at least warn me next time" he said. " okay. Come out within five mintues" I said as I placed his towels near the bath tub.

I shut the door behind me. About an hour later, I finally made myself go check on brick. " oh. My. Gosh!" I said when I opened the door. There was bubbles or some kind of soap bubbles all aorund the floor. And in the cneter was choas was brick in his cat form. " who knew bubble bath tasted so good" he smiled. He made that little cat pose where they try to scathth thier backs. He's trying to make me forgive him. I just kciked him. " clean this stuff up!" I ordered. I tossed a bucket, sponge, and broom at him.

Around eleven, brick finally went to bed. How do i know this? Well beucase he woke me up to give him one of my oversize bras. After his vet appointment, I got a call form jason. " hey j" I answred it. " hey bloss, i heard you like the 50's, so i'm letting you know in a five day notice, will you go out with me wesday?" He asked. " I love to" I answred. " okay, pick you up at six" he hanged up.

" I say you dress in a short skirt" brick smirked. I just kicked him to the bedroom windows. " hey we got new neighbors" he said. " oh really?" I asked as I poffed over to the window. I made a telescope for me and brick apper. " what do you think happed to the smiths?" I asked. " some ally cat told me that they moved the New York beucase some family member just had a heart attack" brick said. " you're going to trust an ally cat's word?" I asked. " hey it just an idea" he said.

" adiren! What did you do!".

" clam down mair, you look better".

I ran down the stiars to see what was going on. Mairette was dressed in what my step mother would wear. " if my mom and dad see me in this, i'm so dead!" She shouted. " i thought you were going to see them" I said. " well they're coming here to see who my roommates are" she said. " so can you two just stay in your room for two hours" adiren said. " fine i know when i'm not wanted" I said. " than why are you alive?" Brick laughed. " what a dumb move. Making fun of the person who you're going to be stuck with for two hours" I smirked. " I mean, it's a good thing you're alive" he said with a scared look on his face.

" scared hun?" I asked as i made my eyes trun a dark pink.

About fifthteen mintues later, me and brick were forced to be in my and yui's room had mairette chaged into a red ladybug dress. Mairette casted a quiet bubble around the room so no one can hear us. " so what now?" Brick asked as he sat on my bed. " we could do homework" I sussgted. " or we could" he said as he held up the magic book. " magic tricks? Really?" I asked. " hey magic work does count as homework beucase you must practice magic to be good at it" he said. 

" so what do you want to do?" I asked. " i've always wanted to do a demon somaning" he said. I made dark pink smoke apper, then made it go away. Then i said " there i made a demon apper". " where?!" Brick asked. I made a mioiir apper and showed it to him. " there he is" I laughed. " not funny bloss" he said. " I have an idea! Let's play shadow!" I said. " what's shadow?" Brick asked. " what's shadow?" I coped.

" bloss, why are you coping me?".

" fine then, I'll just stop talking" brick said. " thank goodness" I sighed. Minutes later. " i'm broad" brick whined. " why did you take your gift of slince away?" I asked. " I'll let you snoop in my stuff if you just shut up!" I said. " okay" he said as he made his way to my closet. After a qhole mintue, brick got broad again. " you know snopping in people's stuff is more fun when they don't know about it" he said. " that's it!" I samled my book shut and tossed it onto my bed.

I grabed brick's hat and spun it aorund, it turned into a black top hat with a red ribbon. It spun aorund some more and than grew larger. Then two white light vines come out and was reaching for me and brick. " this wasn't my plan!" I shouted as I got dragged into the hat.

We fell into a room with ten doors. " where are we?" Brick aksed. " it looks like Jefferson, the mad hatter's way to all the realms in once upon a time" I answred. " but isn't there like five doors for oz, wonderland, the enchanted forest, land of forgotten stories, and sherwood forest?" He asked. My eyes grew brighter. " yes, how did you know?" I asked. No answer, but he did asked " which one do we go in first?". " we eacth go in five and see witch one leads us to home" I answred. I went into my first door.

" off with her head!".

Slam!

" tell me where robin hood is!".

" in a grave!".

Slam!

" how about you become a swan if you love them so much!".

" this one can't be as bad as the other ones, right?".

" oh heack no!"

" last one. I didn't die yet" I said as I opened my last door. " pull up the sails, mates!". " maybe I should look in more" I blushed a,little bit. A handsome brunette prite was standing in a ship. One he saw me, he walked over to me and kissed my hand. " welcome aboard, princess" he smiled. I bet my was  bright as a red rose. " this is the best one yet!" I thought.

Later. " come on bloss!" Brick shouted at me.  " why are you shouting?" I asked. " oh I thought you said no" he said. I rolled my eyes and grbaed a sword. " why are you taking thing?" He asked. " it's a keep shake. Plus I always wanted to use one!" I answred.

Back at all the doors. " so are we stuck here?" Brick asked. " well we could chose one door and use our maigc" I sussgted. " but we could die or feel so good and stay in there forever" he said. " that was one time! Just let me live it the heck down!" I shouted. " fine, so what door?" He asked. I just noticed a door on the floor. " that one!" I pointed to it.

After we went in.

" hey there little red".
