Chapter 4

Moonbyul's POV

*Click*

I immediately looked up.

"What was that?" I asked, standing up.

The next moment, we were surrounded in darkness.

"Unnie, it's a blackout." Came Wheein's voice.

"Mmhm. Xiumin is working on it." I confirmed, receiving the notification on my phone.

I plopped back on my seat.

"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one." I counted the minutes slowly.

*Click*

The lights came back on.

"As I predicted." I smirked at Wheein.

"Stop being greasy unnie. You know I don't like it." She shouted, exasperated.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right..."

Solar's POV

(this is before the blackout, around the time when she came up to sleep.)

I don't understand my boss. At all. One minute she's cold, the next she's letting me sleep in here private space. Why though. Why destiny? Why me? Why her? I mentally screamed at all the events in the past week. I fell on the bed. A minty fragrance surrounded me, soothing me. Snuggling up with the comforter, I allowed myself to fall into a dreamless slumber.
