Oliver POV

This is insane I cant be in love with Felicity. I'm the Arrow what if she gets hurt or worse like the time when The Count got her, or the time the Doll Maker almost got her. I cant do this! It's putting her in danger but I cant keep pushing her away like this, it's cruel to her. I've put her through so much and I do love her, and I need to tell her. She can't leave I need her.

I'm on my way to Felicity's apartment when I get a call from Diggle

"Hey whats up?"

"Felicity called me and wants you to meet her at the cave."

"Sure are you gonna be there?"

"Nope just you"

"okay, bye" I wonder what that was about.

-------Time Lapse-------

I pull up to Verdant and see felicity standing outside the closed doors, It's freezing outside I wonder why she didn't go in?

"Hi" I say walking up to her. She look so beautiful with her hair up in a high ponytail and her eyes hiding behind her glasses.

"Hi, I wanted to talk to you and I didn't know where to go so I decided to come here" she says flashing a pearly white smile.

"sure" I say unlocking the door "what'd you wanna talk about?" I ask her as she walks through the door

"It's a surprise" she says turning around to face me and then slowly taking steps backwards torwards the stairs.

"Watch it!" I yell as she trips and starts to fall down the stairs I run up and catch her hand in the nick of time.I pull her up placing my hand on the small of her back "gotta watch where you step" I say smililing at her, she giggles and turns around and goes down the stairs to the cave. Once safely behind the closed door she pulls out a quiver of arrows "I got you some new arrows, happy birthday!" She says smiling hopefully I walk over to her and place my hands on her shoulders,
"Thank you Felicity. Can I try them?" She nods smiling. I knock my arrow and shoot, they're perfect. I put my bow back in its case and turn to face Felicity, "Thank you Felicity they're perfect" I say she smiles as she sits down and looks at me "Felicity I need to talk to you" her smile fades a bit before she replies.
"O-Okay what about?" She asks me like she did something wrong.
"Nothing's wrong I just want to tell you something" I say smiling she sits up straighter in her chair "Look I was thinking to myself earlier and I realized I can't live without.....you." I say smiling sheepishly to be honest I was really nervous to tell her.
"And..." she said smiling at me
"And I was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner with me like a....um a date" I said smiling at her
"Yes. I would love that, what time should I be ready?" she asks smiling

"How about I'll pick you up at eight." I say looking into her beautiful blue gray eyes. I escort her up the stairs and out of the club. "Pick you up at eight" I say closing the door and watching her drive out of the parking lot. I head home to get ready, for the first time in almost forever I am nervous for a date with the girl of my dreams. And I'll never let her go.
