"Levi! Stop it!" I swatted his hand away and he grinned.
"Oh c'mon,Emmie. Let's do something fun." I sighed,blowing my blond bangs from my eyes and doing my last algebra problem.
"Fine," I sat up. "Where do you suppose we go?" he shifted uncomfortably. I knew better than to think he was serious. I was his secret,an embarrassment. It had started in seventh grade,on our thirteenth birthday actually. That was the day when our parents announced our betrothal to each other. That was the day I lost every friend I'd ever had.
You see I am the daughter of Cole White Alpha of the Cresent Moon Pack. Levi is the son of my fathers best friend, Benjamin Anderson, the alpha of the New Moon Pack. Before we were born we were promised to each other, and let's just say that girls were not happy about that fact. And the bad thing was,I couldn't exactly blame them, I mean Levi's a definate ten on the attractiveness level scale. With his blue eyes and dark hair,that was perpetually styled as if he'd just rolled out of bed, his skin was flawless and tanned perfectly,and his body,was blush inducing. He is absolutely perfect,and I'm punished for it.
"Emmie? Sunshine,were you even listening to me?" he smirked looking at me from his place in the bed of wild flowers, I realized I'd been starring and blushed. "What? Am I distracting you? Should I put my shirt back on?" I rolled my eyes.
"Please!" I scoffed. He shrugged and moved so that his head was in my lap. I instantly ran my fingers through his hair and he stretched,every muscle rippled and I bit my bottom lip.
"Emmie! Focus!"
"Huh!? What!?"
"I said." he chuckled. "We should go to Riverside and see a movie. I know you've wanted to see that stupid romantic comedy Crazy Stupid Love." I frowned and sighed, not blaming him for the fact that he had confused my wants with Caasey Duvals.
"Actually..." he raised an eyebrow. "I wanted to see Contagion... Caasey wanted to see that other movie." he looked instantly apologetic.
"Sorry,Em." I shrugged.
"It's cool." he put his hand to my cheek and I leaned into him. "Emelodie..." he said in a pained voice.
"Levi..." I teased.
"Let's go see that then, Contagion."
"I went to see it with Jack last night." I said softly,and in this town,I added bitterly in my mind. I twisted his hair in my fingers and he closed his eyes,a regretful look taking over his normally cheerful expression.
"Damn, I'm so sorry, Emmie." I smiled and kissed his forehead.
"You wanna see X- Men?"
"I wanna see what you wanna see."
"That's what I want to see."
"Okay." he breathed deeply and snuggled into my lap. He turned so that his face was in my stomach. I searched a movie time in Riverside,
he moved and I was suddenly pushed back,my hair fanned out over flowers. He hovered over me and pecked my neck. I held my phone over my face still searching for a showing and ignoring him. He sighed,laying still,pulling me onto his chest.
"We have to leave now if we are gonna catch the movie." I slowly got up and pulled my bag onto my shoulder. I was slung onto his back and sighed enjoying the last few minutes of piece with him as he carried me out of our clearing
