They Don't Know About Us

Chapter Nine

After you ran to your room Daniel kept trying to get you to open the door. "Y/n, please. I'm sorry." Daniel said through the door. "Don't you have to meet a friend?" You said with an attitude. You then heard Daniel sigh and walk downstairs. You sat in your room for a good two hours just crying. Someone knocked on your door, and it turned out to be Zach. "Hey are you ok?" He said. "I'm fine, leave me alone." You told him. "I know there is something wrong, please let me in." He said.
You got up and opened the door and walked back to your bed. "What's wrong, you've been in here for a while and we've heard nothing but cry's come from in here." He said as he sat on the edge of your bed. You back was facing him and you said "Daniel moved on. He's seeing someone else." "Oh." Is all Zach said. "How about we go and get some ice cream? I know that used to always cheer you up when we were younger." He asked. You turned over to look at him and smiled, "I'd like that!" You got up and hugged your brother. You held on to him tightly because it's felt like forever since you've been able to hug him, let alone talk to him. "Thank you. Your the best little brother ever." You whispered in his ear. "Your welcome. And plus I wanted ice cream anyway." He said laughing which caused you to laugh too. You two get up and head downstairs. As you reach the bottom step you heard giggling coming from the kitchen. You and Zach both turned the corner and saw Daniel and a girl baking cookies (A/N cliche I know lol). The girl had flour in her hair and Daniel had a handful of flour ready to throw it. Zach coughed and they both turned to look at you two. You instantly felt your heart break even more. You knew if you didn't leave the room you'd start to cry again. So, you ran out of the house, got in the car, and waited for Zach to come out.

*Zach's pov*

"Well hope you're having fun! I'll be with my sister getting ice cream because you broke her heart." With that I walked out and got in the car, and Y/n and I were off to get ice cream.

*Daniel's pov*

Once Zach walked outside Rachel turned to me. "What did he mean by you' broke her heart?" She asked me. "Well her and I used to date, but her brother, who you just saw, didn't like us being together. So, she broke up with me, but then I found you and knew I was moving on." I told her. "How long have you guys been broken up for?" She asked. "About a month and a half." I said shrugging my shoulders. "Oh." Was all she said before we started baking more cookies.
