Jaehyo POV's

I wake up every morning waiting for you to come. I really am sorry. I can remember all those times we would share when I wasn't wasting time on other people. I took you for granted and now I'm finally understand how much I had when we were together.

You held us together.

I turned over hugging the empty space. Seeing as you left without a trace. It was so quick, like you were next to me one night and gone the next. Like I was a one night stand.

I should have put more effort. I thought you wouldn't mind. But I would mind too after the 100th time.

Do you still remember how it all happened? Because I can remember every single detail. Down to the feeling I had.

It felt like I had been stabbed multiple times and left out in the cold. I remember thinking was going to drown in my tears because they were coming so fast.

I want to replay that day, just so I could redo it.

Flashback

I got up and checked the time. Oh its only a few minutes later than we promised but that's okay right? Maybe I can stay a little longer and play with her new present.

I has bought her a puppy, and a bouquet of flowers. They were beautiful just like her.

I got up and began to walk out when my ex girlfriend showed up at my door step. I looked wide eyed as she cried her eyes. "Jaehyo he dumped me" she cried grabbing me.

"It's okay Eun-Mi we will get through this" I said patting the top of her hair as she cried into my shirt.

She won't mind I'm an hour late right? I mean I have helping someone here.

I promised to meet you at 3:20, right when you got out of work. But now it was 6:55 but helping EunMi was taking longer than I had thought. I finally got her to calm down and she left.

I grabbed the puppy and put it in my jacket pocket. The flowers in my hand, I left the house and headed towards the park where we would meet.

I looked around and spotted the bench we always sat on, but you weren't there.

I sat down and thought maybe she was running later than I was I will wait here.

But you never came.

You never showed up.

Because you had already been there waiting for him for 2 hours. But this wasn't the first. You would always get stood up by him because he was busy at work or something came up. You got so tired of this crap so you stayed there, waiting to see if he would come, he didn't.

No texts, no calls, nothing.

Jaehyo decided to return home and see if you were there. He understood maybe you got tired of waiting or something. But he thought you would forgive him for being late.

He thought wrong.

He returned home letting the puppy out of his jacket and headed upstairs to see your smiling face. But he went up to everything of yours gone. Like you never lived there.

He checked the bathroom, no makeup scattered, no good smelling shampoo. He checked the closet.

No dresses, or your sweatpants. Nothing. Nothing at all.

He ran upstairs to see if this was a joke but noticed something he overlooked.

A note on the bed the front read Jaehyo.

Dear Jaehyo,

I love you. I really really do but I feel you don't love me as much. I don't want this to be one sided. I want to find someone who loves me as much as I love them. Who shows up for our dates, or remembers our anniversary. It was hard but I put up with it. Until I came home to check on you. But you were comforting EunMi. And usually I would be upset with that, but since you ditched our date for her, I don't think that was very fair.

There was a tear stain right at the end of that sentence. He kept reading on.

I just want you to know, you will find a girl and I know you will treat her right, because you always learn from your mistakes. Our relationship was the mistake. And it was my mistake for thinking you would return what I felt for you. So when you find that special girl, buy her the best flowers, give all your time to her because you can only have so many chances.

I want you to know I love you.

He looked over the letter again. Crying hard. He really lost you. He lost his other half.

He searched the house, vision blurry with tears. He didn't find you or anybody.

Today

Jaehyo got up and got dressed and went out for a walk hoping he would see you. He had tried so many times calling your phone but it always went to voice mail. But when it did he would sit there and listen to your voice. That was all he had left.

A 7 second voice mail was all he had let. He even memorized it.

Hi this is _____ sorry I can't make it to the phone right now leave a message and I will get to you as fast as possible bye~

He would listen to it everyday. Hoping if he listened to it enough you would come into the door and pretend nothing happened. Saying something funny like "if you keep listening to that you might pick up my bejing accent" or  "If you want to listen to my voice take a video it will last longer"

He chuckled at the thought. But then frowned at the thought of you still not with you.

He headed towards the café you used to work at. Maybe after all these years you would be there. He laughed at his sudden thought.

He opened the door and there you stood taking an order. He stood there staring at you. Everything you ever said to him flashed in his memory.

He ran up to you and tackled you crying into your apron. "______ I missed you so much" He said through sobs. He finally had you.

"Jaehyo I don't think I am the girl you will love..." you said sniffling.

"I will love you for eternity. I'm so sorry for taking you for granted" he said still sobbing into your apron.

"Jaehyo I love you" you said hugging him back.

"I love you with all my heart~" he said smiling through the tears. The tears that turned from sadness to happiness just from seeing you.

He finally found his other half. And this time he wouldn't let go.
