Lason's POV

My head was spinning from the flash of Jonet's camera. Agh! She said she would give me 2000 dollars if I broke Karslyn's heart. Right. I TOTALLY BELIVE THAT. I didn't care about Jonet and her rumers. I can date whoever I want.

Karslyn was looking at me with wide eyes. Was she afraid of cameras? No. That wasn't it. Was SHE afraid of Jonet? My answer was confirmed as I saw a single tear drop form under her eyelid. She slowly backed away from me as if this was my fault. "What are you doing? Why are you backing away from me?" She never answered. In fact, she took off running. I didn't bother to chase her though, no point.

I heard snickering from behind a nearby tree. I crept as quietly as I could and grabbed Jonet's phone out of her hand. I knew it was her the whole time. Once it was in my hand, I made a mad dash for my house which was around the corner.

Dang! She was was fast for a fat girl! She looked like a penguin almost. That's when I saw it, a silver T shaped object. Omg, it would be hilarious if that was a gun. Now that I looked closer, it was a gun! A metal revolver! I started running faster seeing as the gun was pointed at me. All this for a phone?!

Now my feet were flying across the pavement! I could see the trees whiz by me as I picked up speed. I peeked behind me to see that Jonet had stopped to catch her breath but had the gun at my head still.

Wow! She looks ridiculous! A penguin with a gun!

*********

That was when I heard a bullet get fired. And that's when my world, my beautiful world with Karslyn, faded to black.
