Isabella's P.o.v
"To be successful, you have to be one of the three bees; the hardest working bee, the Queen Bee or the bee that just doesn't fit in,"
And this my friend, was how I first met, the queen bee__
They say she's sassy and bold, lively and gorgeous, powerful and you know, fit-to-be-a-queen, but I'm so not sorry to break it out to all of you. In this present world, both future and past, no queen bee ever acquires such qualities.
Veronica Walker is a very good example of an overly aggressive, very selfish and manipulative queen. A too confident girl who is not just wealthy and spoilt, but also someone who appears to be my bully. She is beautiful, I can't disagree with that, but her heart is as dark and ugly as it will ever be.
It all started on a normal school day, apparently my second day in Blairwood. I darted out of the clinic ward after getting my wounded leg treated, took a few tablets from the nurse, Mrs Dean and walked to where my locker was only to be welcomed by a few irksome whispers from the 'Gossip Girls',
"Isn't that the new girl from Texas?"
"Oh, the new bitch? News has it, she's finally snatched our captain into her trap."
"You mean Ryan? Yes, I saw him carry her bridal style earlier today."
"Are they really dating?"
SLAM
I kicked my locker shut in utter annoyance after exchanging a few books and grabbing the items I needed for my fifth class. Just so you know, this is exactly how my day's finally turned out to be. Funnily enough, I recently got here, and now I appear to be the whole center of everyone's discussion. Oh, why is that?
It's all because of him, Ryan!
Most of them believe we are dating.
How could we ever date?
And to make it worse, they blamed it all on me, claiming I had lured or put a spell on him or something, because their captain, never goes for cheap poor girls. And no, they didn't stop at that, but also referred to me as a green snake under the green grass. To them, I just look or appear innocent, but I'm nothing but those nouns. I am an adorable little whore and my only aim here was to snatch boyfriends. Seriously???
Tell you what! Guys don't even know I exist. So you can say I have never dated a guy before. Yeah, I'm just another normal teen girl, focused on nothing other than my future aims.
I just hate it! I hate it when people gossip unnecessary about me. It's sickening!
Trespassing past the hallway, I had a number of glares from some typical pesky girls, the type of students who are mostly involved with the, whispering, gossiping thingie. Somewhat I felt like this school should have been named Gossip high instead, It would have been perfect that way.
Completely ignoring everyone, I headed towards my Physics class, took a sit at the back, mostly trying to avoid the attention, as I would have preferred sitting at the middle due to the fact I happen to be average heightened, not tall.
The whole class was in chaos.
A number of kids left their seats and formed groups, all talking loquaciously, mostly worthless talks about Hollywood stars and their lastest movies; the guys, mostly about football or soccer games. One of the dry things I believe I really hate about school. Either way, the teacher entered, but that wasn't enough to stop the noise though.
"For today's lessons class, we will be continuing from our last topic," Mr Howard, my Physics teacher, pratically cleared his throat, as usual, trying to get everyone's attention to himself and most importantly, what he was teaching.
