Jay's POV
"Goodbye Mother, Father," I goodbye, my strong British accent pulling through. "Don't go darling," my mother pleaded. I shook my head. "Sorry mother. My mate is out there. I know it," I confirm. She nodded and I hugged them. I head to the wooden door and turn the knob.
I've been in the woods for 3 hours now. My wolf is getting impatient with me. She needs to be free. "Fine have it your way," I give in. She jumps with pride and gets ready to shift. "Ready girl?" I ask her. She nods proving that she is ready to come out.
Jeni comes free from her cage and races. As if another wolf was beside me. She has never gone this fast. Maybe the fastest wolf I've ever seen.
Jeni stops dead in her tracks. Seeing 3 bigger wolfs. Black. Brown. Surprisingly dark gold. Which is rare.
They have captured me. And her. These people forced me to turn back to the Jay I was born with. The weak human body that I know. The person that left her family for her stupid mate. That's probably in another county.
They threw me in a cell with bars. The cold cement was uneasy. Until the Alpha (I suppose) comes down. I kinda expect him to attack me.
But he was stunning. Blonde hair, light skin, abs, and strong muscles. I blink to break contact.
"Why have you come here?" He wonders out loud. "How did you find us?" "Where did you come from?" His questions are tempting but the last one pains my chest. "Question one: I was running to find my mate. Question two: I didn't find you. Your people find me. Question three: Northern Louisiana. Plus, a little treat. I know my way around these woods so I can go now," I hastily reply. The man shook his head. "You know where we are. You will find the next pack and tell them where we are," he yelled. I flinched. "What's your name?" He asks. "Jay," I respond. "Your full name," he demands. I sigh. "Jasmine," I spat at him. "Your my...," he trails off. "Your...?" I try to make him finish the sentence.
"My mate."
Alkier (as I learned his name) shows me to his room. He is a sweetheart mostly but he can be angry sometimes. As he told me.
"I'll be back. I need to show you who you'll be staying with besides me. They're not here now. You'll enjoy them. Especially Rola. Be back soon," He cut off at soon by shutting the door.
Rola and Alkier come in soon after 30 minutes. "You must be Jay," Rola (I guess) gushes, taking my hands into hers. "Yeah," I agree. "I'm Rola," She mentions. "Jay, as you know," I point out. "Well, girls. Sorry to interrupt but you know how Logan, Zac, Leah and Lindsey are. Loud," Alkier says, placing himself under the comforters. "See you tomorrow," Rola yawns. "Night," I yawn as well.
At three, I'm woken by four people crashing the door open. My eyes widen as the girls come in.
"Leah? Lindsey?" I cry.
