I'm so sorry it took so long to update, so I gave you a bit of a longer chapter, let me know if you like it. Also comment if you like it or any changes that you want. Just so everyone knows her and X-ray will not be a couple, I just want them to be good friends since I haven't seen a book that has much interaction with X. And her love interest will be a different OC that I will have in the next chapter, give me ideas for names and background story for him.

XOXOX~cc

We played pool for a while, me winning most of the games and joking around with each other. I was currently leaning against the wall watching the game with x-rays arm wrapped around my shoulder which should have bothered me, but did not. I was watching the game being played, and for the first time in a while I felt like I belonged somewhere.

Everyone here was more or less just like me, cast out by society for being street rats, and had a family that didn't care. There was suddenly a loud alarm that echoed through the room.

All the boys jumped up and started running to the door. X-ray removed his arm and began to walk away, seeing that I wasn't following he turned and looked at me. "Come on, it's supper time!" he said whilst smiling goofily at me.

I rolled my eyes with a small smirk before nodding my head and walking after him.

The cafeteria was the biggest room in the building, the floors dirty from the dust that everyone tracked in and the tables looked ready to fall apart.

There was a sea of orange and all the cooks stuck out like a sore thumb being dressed in white. The line for the food went out to the hallway, I didn't feel like waiting that long and it seemed that X-ray had the same thought because he went to the very front of the line and shoved a boy back getting in front of everyone. He turned to me and held out his arm "ladies first." he said letting me go in front of him. I smirked and said " So that's why you want to go to the front, you forgot to tell me somethin' X?" I asked.

He thought about it for a second before he started to laugh, finally getting my joke " I think I like you girly!" he exclaimed. I smiled and shook my head before walking in front of him and getting in line. The food looked gross, similar to my mom's cooking and when I finally got all of my food on my tray the thing weighed a ton, making me think that it wasn't food.

X shoved my shoulder a bit, nodding at me to follow him. He led me to a table which was empty since we did cut everyone here and the rest of the boys either cut the line a bit behind us or went all the way to the end.

The rest of the boys finally got to the table with their food and I ended up sitting between magnet and squid, both of them were loud and talkative so i wasn't worried that I would have to talk too much. The entire meal went smooth other than X trying to take my bread, to which he now has a red mark on his head where I slammed the palm of my hand, and we were now walking back to the tent with the boys singing and dancing around about how they got the girl in their tent.

I shook my head smiling a bit looking over to where Zero was walking a bit behind me. I slowed down to walk next to him and he looked at me and gave me a single nod which I returned before we made it to the tent.

I walked straight in and sat on my bed, leaning my elbows on my knees. Everyone else either sat or layed down on the multiple beds around the room and began talking about random things that I wasn't paying attention to.

It had been about an hour since dinner and everyone was still talking and laughing, I was still sitting on my bed, I had not moved much and I think that the boys were getting weary since I hadn't said anything either.
