XXI

When Hyunjin arrived home it was already past midnight, which of course made his mom hella worried, because he wasn't aswering any of her calls. The moment he opened the door and stepped in the house, his eyes met his mother's, and her's weren't really happy.

Of couse she bombarded him with questions about where he was, what did he do until this hour and why he wasn't aswering the phone. Hyunjin couldn't tell her he was in another city with someone she didn't know, she would completly freak out.

He told her he was with Jisung, which she already knew, and that they went out and then to Jisung's place to play games. He told her that his phone died and he lost track of time, which was actually true.

She sighed and let him go, at least he was back home safely. She told him to sit down and asked him about how the things with Misook's dad went.
Hyunjin smiled and told her that the plan worked and that Misook will finally let him alone.

She smiled as well, glad that this all finished but was also worried about it, she was afraid of Mr. Won. Even though him and her husband used to be really close friends, still, Misook was more important then a friendship. He surely wouldn't pull back to hurt Hyunjin in any way if he finds out.

His mom told him to go to sleep, since it was so late. He did as told and climbed the stairs, going into his room. He changed his clothes and got into the bed. Even though he was so tired, he just couldn't sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about today. It was probably the best day he ever had in his life.He closed his eyes, recalling the events from this night, smiling.

The reason Hyunjin arrived at this late hour was because him and Seungmin drove all around the city. They were like two crazy people, but they didn't care, they loved it.

Hyunjin has never felt this way before with anyone. He would usually be cautious, going home early, not wanting to make his mom worried. But now, he just didn't care, he only cared about one person, he felt like him and Seungmin were the last people alive in this world.

And with that, time just flew by and it was already 11 PM when they finally decided to go back home. Seungmin drove him, but not really in front of his house, since Jisung didn't have a car so it was obvious Hyunjin was lying to his mom. He told Seungmin to drive him close to his house though, maybe two houses away from his.

As his thoughts and a certain person were running through his head,he finnaly fell asleep.

In the next morning he woke up around 11 AM, because it was Saturday. He streched his arm to pick up his phone from the nightstand and immediatly saw tons of messages from Misook, and they were from yesterday evening.

He sighed as he closed the conversation with Misook and then realized he had another message from another person. It was from Seungmin. Hyunjin smiled, his mood immediatly lighting up.
