A Love Story With Twists

Chapter one

okay so welcome to the story Angels let's get started. There isn't much to warn about this chapter but if it triggers or bothers anyone it does talk about divorce and parent walking out and cheating. Also this is based on after prison Spencer but with the team of like season 7.( i'm still watching the show i'm on season 8 but i have watched ahead some episodes with my mom because she watched the show before me)

So let's go with the  beginning you were born on october 28. You very dearly love halloween ever since you were around 8 years old. You loved the fact of being able to dress up without people judging and being able to be fun and scary characters you basically loved being out of your skin yet still being yourself. You loved the scents that would come out of for halloween. They just smelled homey. You never felt good in your own skin no matter what anyone told you. You had plenty of friends as you grew up but still felt so alone at times. Your father walked out after cheating on your mother at around the age of 8 years old he then went on with his new wife and had a child. He visited you from time to time but it was mostly to see your brother he was five years younger than you. You , your brother, and your mom lived in a nice loving home and your mother was that fun mother you shared everything with. She would let you do mostly everything you wanted but she still was strict. 

Okay but let's get to your real story. You were 23 years old and you deicide it was time for a change. You and your boyfriend Alexander had been talking and you guys agreed it would be good to move in together. So you guys packed up and got on your happy way to Quantico, virginia. You had found a fairly nice apartment and you guys were all moved in by the end of the week. Alex found a job not to far from the apartment in an auto-shop since he was mechanic. You were still finishing your 2nd phd in phycology. So you were still in school but got a job in a coffee shop not to far away. You had met your neighbor his name was Spencer Reid  and boy was handsome.

Reader's Pov 

I was sitting at home reading "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. That's the book i usually would read to relax and made shed a few tears. Anyways as i was reading i heard a faint knock at the door. I hadn't invited anyone so i looked through the peephole first because come on i'm not trying to get murdered. When i looked i saw a tall slanky young man with somewhat long brown hair and hazel eyes. I kept looking for a little longer and i noticed he was nervous. I opened the door and boy he was taller than expected he towered over me i had to look up to see him.

"Hi, umm, may i help you." you said in a small voice almost a whisper.

" Hi well no actually, i just wanted to introduce myself i'm your neighbor. Spencer" 

He was rubbing the back of his neck as he spoke  and if i'm honest i found it adorable. I found  myself staring for a little too long i cleared my throat and stepped out of behind the door i was in some shorts and a t-shirt since it was my freetime. He took a second to look at me up and down as i spoke.

" Well then hi i'm y/n if you would've come a little sooner you would've met my boyfriend Alex" i waved at him and then i remember that people  usually shake hands so i slowly put my hand out for him to shake it.

" oh. no no no that spreads too much germs it .."

I cut him off with a smile saying " it was would be much safer to kiss" 

He looks up at me smiling. Oh god that smile. it dommed me i just wanted to smile brighter i became more insecure about my smile as i saw that. As we stared at each other my alarm went off. " oh im sorry thats me i have to start getting ready for work but it was nice to meet you Spencer maybe i could invite you for dinner one of these and you could meet Alex and talk a bit more." I grabbed a not and wrote my number down with my name. " Here "

He took it from my hand and oooooo i swear our hands touched and i felt electrifying. I jumped a little. He smiled proudly and we said our goodbyes. I closed the door and started getting ready for work i put some black jeans my black converse and a random big t-shirt. i grabbed my backpack that had my computer, change of close, water bottles, medicine , hairbrush, and my little make up bag. I walked out into my car threw my bag in the passenger and head to the coffee shop.

Hours later 

It was pretty uneventful like usual. when i started closing shop and started heading home i got a call it was Alex.

"Hey babes heading home now."

"Hey okay, i just wanted to check on you and tell you that i'm staying at work later than usual there is a car here that i gotta finish before friday."

" oh um, okay do you want me to bring you dinner or something i was going to make spaghetti."

" hm oh no no no no no its -its fine one of my coworkers brought in food for us that are staying."

You see i was not trusting that plus i heard as if he were in a car on the highway. So i did the only thing that went through my mind.

"oh well do you need me to pick you up orrr" 

" oh no it's fine one of my coworkers uhh andrew said he could take me ima be out pretty late wouldn"t want you driving that late at night"

"mm okay. well then i'm at my car. i'm going to pass by the store before i go home do you need anything?"

" no i'm good bye."and before i could even say 'bye i love you' back he hung up.and it just didn't sit right with me, but i just gave up and headed home when i got home spencer was just getting home to so i decided it'd be a good time to get to know my neighbor. I walked over to him and i asked him if we could talk a little get to know each other. He instantly got happy and opened the door quickly. We got inside and i tripped i f*cking tripped. I tripped so hard that when he turned around i took him down with me. We both fell and when i look up our faces are inches away i could feel his heartbeat in my hand and i could feel his breathe blowing my baby hairs away. 

Our faces were so close i could see how hazel his eyes really were.

okay sooo hi angels in our very first chapter it's already 1,250 words i made it as long as possible. yes i know there isn't much spencer but please understand that im dragging out the story so i could last longer. okay so babes what do you think Alex is doing is he really working? or is he doing something else?and what's going to happen with spencer? how freaking close are we?
