The Quirk Taking Hero, Deku! (A my hero what if)

Chapter One: The Quirk's Manifistation

It was a few years later, after his father had said his goodbyes to him and his mother, who was deeply saddened. She called for him every day for the few months since he came in bloodied and beaten, but she finally caved in. In her eyes, he was dead. She mourned his death, but knew young Izuku had to be taken care off. It's all she had from him other than they're rings, so she kept Izuku safe when he was by her side. Of course however, that wasn't always the case.

Bakugo pounded his fists together and smiles down at a young student who trembled in fear. After he had gotten his quirk, he beat the other students he considered "weak" down and told them they'll never be heroes, which of course broke a few students. "Well well well!" He sneered. "Looks like we have another new kid on our hands that wants to try oh so hard to be a hero....well..." he sets off small little explosions to intimidate the kid, which works as he trembles more. "Let's see what his quirk can do up against real power..." he laughs.

Izuku suddenly slides in and opens his arms wide open. He stared down Bakugo with fearful determination. "S-stand...B-back!" He says with both heroism and fear. "I won't let you hurt him....not like the rest!" He yells.

Bakugo looked miffed, but amused. "Oh? So you wanna stop me, eh...? I'll give you credit..." he pops off a few more small explosions. "At least your special amongst all these extras...at least your quirk-less ass wants to be a hero..." he smiles more. "Why don't you hurry up with that damn quirk, and pray that it's strong...so that you can fight me!" He yells. "Until then..." he launched forward with an explosion. "I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!" He yells.

Izuku braces himself for a beating, which he was used to. Suddenly, he hears a familiar voice, one he can't place his finger on. "Open your eyes...." the voice says in a weak tone. He does so, and feels...strange. He sees an aura around Bakugo, one that allowed him to see his quirk and all its possible properties that it can become with enough training. "....reach out..." the voice calls. Izuku obeys, and mentally feels a connection with his quirk tug, and pull into him.

Bakugo immediately stops making explosions, and falls to the ground. "OW!" He yells. He gets up and looks at his hand. "What...the hell..?!" He yells. "What happened...?" He looks to Izuku with a questioning gaze.

Izuku was about to say something. "I..." he was about to explain when suddenly, his hands start to puff out small embers of explosions. "What the..."

Bakugo stares at him and looks at him in horror. "How...why...." he looks at Izuku angrily. "Give it back!" He yells "I know you took it...how the hell did you...GIVE IT BACK!"

Izuku backs up, and then hears the voice. "Now....touch him." He says. Izuku nods a bit, which might have confused everyone but Bakugo, who immediately thought it was acceptance, and Izuku touched Bakugo's arm. Bakugo was bout to pull back and slap Izuku, but sees that suddenly, Izukus arm began to show red veins that flowed into Bakugo. Bakugo started popping off sparks again, and looks to Izuku. "What the hell kinda quirk we're you hiding from me..?!" He yells.

"I....I didn't....hide anything...I..." he backs away. "I...." Izuku suddenly was stopped as he hears his mom call his name. "Izuku! Baby!" She calls "where are you?" She calls. He looks around and looks back. "I'll....uh....see you..." he slowly walks away, leaving Bakugo confused and angry at the same time.

Izuku walked up to his mother, with both happiness and fear. "M-mom!" He says somewhat nervously. "I...my quirk...!" Inko looks down at her son with wide eyes "it's...already?" She smiles "oh my baby boy!" She hugs him and gets into the car. "Looks like we're eating out! We're gonna be home late whenever we go to the doctors office, eh?" Izuku smiles and nods "Y-yeah!" He says. Inko nods with her happiness and excitement leaking out of her as she drives her son to the hospital.

Izuku waits in the office with his mother, nervously staring at the clock on the wall. "Mommy...." he says, a bit afraid. "What if my quirk makes me a villain..?" He says. Inko looked confusedly at her son. "What..?" She says. "What do you mean...? I'm sure your power is amazing...." she smiles "I can't wait to hear what it's like!" She says, with a smile.

He looks down sadly, however. "The doctors looked...scared at me..." he says with a nervous look. Inko sighs "I'm sure they always are scared...they're plunging into unknown quirks that could be dangerous since they could be hard to control....just...be calm..." she smiles "quirks dont make the hero...you do..." she smiles. "Always remember that..." she says. She hugs him and sighs a bit. Izuku hugs back with a smile.

The doctor walks into the room and sits down, but...he's nervous...? He adjusts his notes and looks to the family. "Well, it appears your results have come in...and, well...." he sighs "let's say your extremely lucky kiddo..."

Izuku stares a the doctor, before his mother asks his question for him. "How so...?" She asks calmly.

"Well..." he sighs "as it turns out, your son has a second joint on his pinky toe,
Which, in most cases, would prove that your son would be quirkless..but.." he smiles "it appears your son has surpassed that old test, eh?"

Izuku smiles a bit and then more and more. "W-wow!" He says. "Me...? L-lucky...." he smiles more "I'm...so happy, mommy!" He says.

"...however..." he sighs "his tears for his quirk...are....well....groundbreaking...unlike anything I've seen in my career before..." he says. "You see...most quirks usually are one or two...and are usually stemmed from the parents individual quirks...but your sons...is a completely different ballpark..." he says, and looks down to Izuku, then back to Inko. "As per you and your late husbands quirk registrations, yours is flotation of small objects, yes? And your husbands fire breathing?"

Inko sighs sadly. She didn't enjoy talking about her husband with others not part of her family or social group, but she answers anyways. "Yes..." she says. "Why is...what is his quirk..?" She says nervously.

He clears his throat and says. "To answer your questions...his quirk can take away other quirks, he can use them, and pass them back onto others..."

The room fell silent. It was shocking to even Izuku, and the fear on his mothers face sent a chill down her spine.

"Yes...I know it can be bad...but..." he sighs "let's remember that they're are no bad quirks, eh? Only the user influences that..." he smiles "so...please make sure your son grows up happy and healthy so that he might end up as a proper person....maybe even a hero." He smiles.

Inko nods and bit and smiles "of course, sir..." she says. "I'll....yeah! It may sound a bit bad, but it isn't! It was just shocking...I mean, he's so lucky..." she looks to Izuku and hugs him. "Oh, my son....Now you can try to be like AllMight, eh?"

Izuku returns her a smile and nods. "Y-yes!" He says "I can be like him!" He says and looks to the doctor. "I can't wait to go home and learn more about my quirk!" He smiles.

The doctor nods and smiles. "Go home at your own pace..." he says. "You can leave now even..it's only a quirk test, so he isn't going to get hurt or sick enough to stay..." he gives Inko a copy of Izukus quirk registration papers. "Keep ahold of these should you enroll your son into...well, anything..and...I'll be in my way. Have a nice day!" He smiles and leaves the room.

Inko smiles and hugs Izuku. "Oh my god! Your just...so lucky! Such a strong quirk...and right when you prayed for a powerful quirk to be like AllMight!" She smiles and boops his nose. She gets up and holds his hand. "As promised...let's eat out...and go home." She says. "We'll celebrate tomorrow!"

Izuku smiles and nods "y-yeah!" He says "I will!" He gets up and practically drags Inko to her car. "I can't wait to learn about my quirk more!" They drive  home after eating, and celebrate his quirks emergence, unknowing to the fact that all those years ago, All for One, his father and her husband, passed that quirk to him.
