Abused and Broken

Chapter 3

Aliyah's P.OV

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my window being opened. Looking towards it I saw nothing I continued to look around to meet with red eyes. I kept starring at them as is i were to blink they would disappear. Then a deep voice cuts though the air,

"Why are you bruised like this?"

For some reason I replied with ease, "i don't know maybe its the worlds way of saying that I'm a waste of both time and space and that I shouldn't be existing"

"Nobody is a waste of space darling," it answered, "you'll see your worth very soon my dear just be patient."

I scoffed at the thought of being worth something 'they must take me for an idiot I've been patient for 18 years, I'm pretty sure that i would have known if I was worth something by now'

" Dont think like that sweet heart you'll see soon"

I completely ignore the fact that they either read my mind or I said everything out loud to ask the i was supposed to ask in the beginning.

"Who are you?" 'I should be terrified but the truth is i honestly dont care what happens to me at this point'

"you'll find out soon, as I've said before be patient. Its time for me to leave now..... Sleep."

"Wait don't-" was all i managed to sputter before everything went black 'i didn't even get their name'.

Time skip

My father slammed open the door making me jump awake, I can right away sense that he wasn't in the happiest of moods as he stood at my door fuming.

"Where is she?" he growled as he slowly approached me

I just sit there quietly not knowing what he is going on about, before i knew it he punched me in the stomach and in the face yelling, "where the fuck is my wife you bitch?!".

I now understood that my mother had gone missing, he didn't even give me a chance to explain myself as he started to punch me over and over again while yelling curse words at me.

That soon stopped when my mother limped through the door covered in her own blood, scratches and bruises.

"Help me," she pleaded before blood and froth started to spew out of her mouth and her eyes started to roll into the back of her head as she struggled to breath as she sank to the ground, 'this is what you deserve'

My father rushed to her side "what did you do to her?!" he screamed while looking at me with hate. Not to soon after he left with my mothers' 'body probably to go and bury it' I decided to go to school i was already 40 minutes late.
