"hey gia wake up we got a bus to catch" my mom says waking me up
i jump up ready to go back to new jersey
we have to catch a bus a ride for 2 hours just to get there but it was worth it
"so marinas gonna meet is at the bus stop so we won't have to catch a cab" my mom says
"okay" i say excitedly
i don't have a lot of friends, i mean i move a lot so it was hard to keep them plus not having a phone to keep in contact so i wasn't gonna miss anyone...
i grab my walmart bags full of clothes and other stuff and follow my mom as we walk out of the door with our whole life in our hands
it wasn't hard to leave this house i mean we've only been here for a few months...i was more happy then sad
we walk to the bus stop which was only a few blocks from where we we were at and wait for the bus to new jersey
"mom u sure about this" i say to her
"i think this is for the best honey, i can't keep having you live like this" she says hugging me
there were homeless people sleeping around the bus stop, i was used to it but it was always very uncomfortable
i always felt bad knowing that we almost were in that spot multiple times and how scary it must be
the bus pulls up and i go on while my mom pays for it, me and my mom sit next to eachother while other people get on...
random guys stare at me and my mom which creeps me out
"hey dipshit i'm 15 and my mom is unavailable so unless you me to kick you ass and call the cops i would advise you to stop staring" i say to the guys
they look away
i roll my eyes and open my book as my mom brings me closer to her while laughing
i've always had an outspoken personality, anything i thought i said
as i started to get deep into my book chapter after chapter time was flying and before i knew it my mom was shaking me telling me we're here
wow that was faster than i thought it would be
we get off the bus waving bye to the bus driver
we wait at the bus stop
i get a whiff of new jersey and you know how you can just smell the familiar smell of your hometown after you've been gone for a while
it's was amazing
a car pulls up and a familiar looking woman get out
"MARINA" i yell running to her
i give her a big hug
"hey sweetie i missed you" she says
"i missed you too" i say holding her tight
"you can go ahead and get in the car while i talk to your mom" she says to me giving me another hug
i get in the car and i see my mom and marina hug as they start talking i see my mom tearing up as they guy again
they both get in the car
"so your mom will get her own room and mattia has agreed to let you roommate with him just until i get your room cleared out, you remember mattia right" marina says smiling
