"I Will"

I awoke to find I was alone in Peter's hammock. Peter was no where in sight. I sighed, he probably went to see the girl.

My nose had stopped bleeding overnight but I had a large bruise on my stomach from the impact of the rock.

I hastily clambered over to the ladder and slowly descended down it, to the forest floor. Above the trees, I could see a bright sun but down here, shadows hung around every corner.

Camp was just down this trail, I took only a few steps before music traveled into my ears, Peters flute. It had the most mesmerizing ring to it, I continued walking as the flute continued playing.

I pushed into camp just as Peters music stopped. I looked around to see Lost Boys scattered around camp, most sharpening their sticks or whispering in small groups.

"Aut!" Austin was walking toward me, he hugged me fiercely and protectively, "What's up lil sis?"

My heart ached at his words, Max and Connors memories clouded my thoughts, they were my true brothers. I left Connor to find Max on Neverland, only to be disappointed when Max was not on the island.

"Look," I lifted my shirt to reveal the purple and black bruise, he hissed at the sight, "Ive seen worse," I said still looking around for Peter.

"The girl woke up," Austin stood awkwardly, one hand on his hip while the other rubbed the back of his neck, "She claims that you purposely pushed her, and she defended herself by pushing you down," he said with a hint of laughter.

"I ran into her, yes, but she did no such thing. Wheres Peter?" I demanded, and Austin pointed to Peters tent.

I nodded before walking over to it, opening up the curtains I pushed my way in to find Peter, but he wasn't alone. The girl was sitting on his lap, she was brushing his face with her petty clean hands.

"Sorry to interrupt," I snarled before storming over to them. Out of anger and jealousy, I grabbed the girls hair and yanked her off of Peter. She screamed and wriggled on the floor before standing to face me.

She was shorter than me, her brown hair was in a wild mess of knots, her green eyes blazing. Peter stood and grabbed my arm but I pulled away.

"Don't touch me," I spat, before either of them could reply I stormed out of the tent, intentionally shoving her before I left. Austin was outside waiting, he must have heard the girls screams, "I don't wish to talk about it."

He nodded and I made my way toward Merman's tent. I walked in and Merman was sorting bottles containing strange liquids.

"I heard her screaming," he said without even turning around, "Pan wont be pleased," he said grabbing a bottle then turning towards me, "This'll help your bruise, but I must insist that you rest and stop hurting other girls."

I took the bottle from him and snorted, "She was on his lap, brushing his face, I had no other choice," I said calmly but he simply narrowed his eyes at me.

"Jealousy will always find a way if you let it," he sighed turning back to his bottles, "She was simply showing him how the Indians of another realm say thank you."

"By sitting on their lap? Then getting ready to kiss? I don't think so."

"No, by sitting on his lap yes, but the rubbing of his cheek was symbolizing thanks," he sighed again, picking up each clear bottle and examining the contents.

"Thanks," I said before walking out into camp, Peter sat outside his tent, staring straight at me. I cringed but kept walking toward the camp entrance, his eyes watching my every move.
