Bella's POV I wake up to the sun shining in my eyes. "Goddammit!" I yell because it was shining a bit too bright. "Is everything okay, princesa ?" my dad asks worriedly "yea sorry dad the sun almost blinded me" I reply with a chuckle "oh, okay, umm breakfast is ready, can I bring it here or do you want to eat it in the kitchen?" He asks "I'll go eat it in the kitchen ,as always dad" "ok um I'm gonna go and feed...the cat" "dad do you wanna tell me something or?" "Uh..uh I'll tell you later, ok?" "Ok?" He left my room. I walked over to my balcony and looked at everything, from the water to the clouds. I breathed in that salty Hawaiian air that I'll never get used to and just looked at the ocean. Suddenly I felt as if this wasn't going to last so I stayed there for a little bit just to take it all in, just in case, you know?

I greeted my dad ,properly this time, and saw that he made me BACON AND EGGS so I squealed, grabbed some plates and dished up for my father and I. "How did you sleep mi princesa?" My dad asked "oh I slept fairly well" I replied "what about you?" I asked "oh I slept fine" he answered. We finished our food and I went to change into an outfit to go casually skating by the park

(Minus the hoops and glasses) I grabbed my skateboard and backpack .I went downstairs after packing my phone, speaker, a notebook and pen and a $20 bill in my bag, I got two bottles of water from the fridge, put some goldfish crackers in a ziplock baggie(it sounds right idk why) ,grabbed a can of Dr Pepper(I don't like Dr Pepper) and a can of sprite , I washed a tub of strawberries and put that in my bag and grabbed a banana , I made 2 pb & j sandwiches and also put those in a ziplock baggies and I went back up to my room to grab a $50 bill so I could get some food. I walked into my dad's office and kissed his forehead "I'm going skating around the park and stuff I might go to McDonald's or chick fil a(I don't know how to spell it lol) I also packed some snacks in my backpack , is that okay?" I asked "yeah that's fine I guess ,but just be safe" he said "thanks dad I love you do you want anything from chick fil a?" "No it's fine I'll just make something here I love you too" "okay bye dad" I walked out of the door and started skating. I got to the park ,sat on a bench and switched on my speaker, I put it on a low volume to be respectful since there were other people at the park. I ate one of the PB & J sandwiches when someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to see a cute short boy with fluffy hair with a silver streak in it. "I know you don't know me but could I get a bite out of you're sandwich?" He asked with puppy dog eyes 🥺 he looked absolutely adorable so so I grabbed the second one from my backpack and handed it to him "here" I said with a smile on my face "thank you so much, I forgot to pack something to eat and I didn't bring any money and I'm really hungry" he said biting into the sandwich "I'm Kairi btw" "Bella Grace but you can call me Bella" "Bella means beautiful in Italian" he said randomly "you speak Italian too?" I asked "No, all I know is that Bella means beautiful and I know how to say hello" he said "oh ,well what language can you speak?" I asked "English" he answered "that's it?" I ask "yea, but I can speak a little bit of Japanese and Italian,that's about it" "oh ,okay" "what about you?" He asked "oh I speak Italian ,Japanese ,Spanish and English" I answer "oh wow!" "Yea my dad is like an Afro Latino and my mom is Italian and Japanese" I said "well I guess I'm the same as you're mom because my dad is Italian and my mom is Japanese" he said "So you're Wasian?" I ask "yea, I guess" he said as he sat down. "What part of Hawaii are you from?" I asked curiously because he didn't look like ANY of the locals "actually, I'm not from Hawaii" he admitted "I thought so, you look nothing like the locals. Are you here for summer vacation or something like that?" "Yeah my mom and little sister wanted to come here for the beach but I came here to skate and see the beautiful weather, beaches and nature in general" he said "oh , you skate?" I ask "yea ever since I was 12 years old"(let's act like he skates) he answered "what about you?" He asked "oh probably since I was 11" I said "how old are you now?" "I'm sixteen, you?" "Seventeen" "ok do you wanna ride around then have some goldfish crackers?" I asked "HELLS YEAH!!" He yelled. "You're actually so adorable" I blurted thinking I said that in my head "huh?" He asked "holy crap I said that out loud" "thank you tho" "you're welcome Kai" "ooh I like that nickname, lemme give you one" he said excitedly "okay" I said "how about.....Bambi?" He said with a giggle "Bambi?" "Yea, it means you're adorable" "No you" I said "No you"he said "No you" "No you" "No me" I said "NO ME!"he screamed "See I told you you're adorable Kai" "ah you got me" he said as he giggled. "But Bambi kinda suits you considering you have big brown eyes and a cute little nose" he said, gently tapping my nose "ok but let's go, we said we were gonna go skating around then eat goldfish crackers" I reminded him "oh yeah I forgot, I guess you're just really fun to talk to" he said with a genuine smile "aww thank you Kai" I say gushing "no problem, where are we gonna ride?" He asks "let's go by the mall ,then we could come back to the park and talk ,then go ride by the beach at sunset ,then we could walk around in the mall maybe get some chick fil a" I say "WAIT A DAMN MINUTE! You're willing to skate with me and talk to me AND YOU BUY AND GIVE ME FOOD?! Marry me" he said as he jokingly kneeled down on one knee. "I can't marry you, I'm in love with another, my love for them is too strong ,I can't let that go" I say matching his energy "Who is this man?!"he said (If you know that Rebecca thing from TikTok ur elite) "He...is...FOOD!" (I switched it up lol) "let's just go skate around the mall" he said "aight BET lesss gooooooo!" I yelled. 💭I think I just met the cutest human being ever💭
