Ok so before I start Jack is the same hight weight and build as sledge from R6 siege and Lily is same as lily from borderlands but different looks. That's all for now

" Hey kid look alive" lily says coldly shaking me from my thoughts " we need our sniper to cover us." back on the first mission she was against me going with them. But i insisted i go and im usefull. But i was 12, so as always she was against it.

" leave him be lily. Hes probably just nervous. He'll do good" jack says smiling as he walks over. " ok simple stuff. Save the non-combatants, take out the hostiles. "

" how many?" i ask, getting thoughts that id rather not have about this.

" about 20 so pick and chose targets." jack replys looking at me

" they could try to leverage them for cash or off them as a warning. I dont think this is as simple as it looks." i say as i scan the building blueprints. I grab my L118 and check it over. " this might not seem organized but it damn well could be." i end as they look at me suprised that i got all that off tge info i had.

" you make a good point kid, 20 people is alot for something simple" jack says. Earning a simple nod from lily.

Lily then goes into her room and comes out with 2 sights. " here is your mill scanner, Up to 30 meters away it will show you whats in the sight. And a thermal scope with up to 20x variable zoom. Why do you need these anyway?" lily asks me.

" cloaking tech. Atlas is working on cloaking tech for foot soldiers and snipers. If the baddys get that these can see through the trickery." i say " also ni have something for you." they both look at me and stop

" you got something for us? Well show us" jack says. I hate that. That tone he uses. Its one you would use on a 5 year old with a gift. Just because their both 4 years older then me.

I ignore the tone and quickly get 2 black duffle bags, marked with the first letter of both of their names. I push them onto the table.

" Jack, you get an m1 grand remake with an actual mag. Its chambered in .50 beowolf. The sights are on point and if wanted it can have a red dot. For a side arm its a sawn off Winchester model 1887. Fires 12 guage of whatever you want but right now its loaded with buck shot. For clothing there are black combat boots, black lightweight military style pants and jacket. It also comes with armor stopping everything short of .50 cal" i say smiling

" holy shit kid how did you get this?! Jack asks astonished at everything in front of him

" lily you get the same clothing and armor as jack but for guns you get an MP40 remake chambered in .45 cal. It holds 40 rounds and has select fire of single, burst, and full auto. Your sidearm is an mp5k chambered in 7.62x51 NATO." I say to her with a larger smile them before

(( If you think I'm joking I'm not. I actually researched these fucking things and that's the round for the mp5k. How?))

" Wow. Um thank you. I'm amazed you got all this for us." Lily says looking at everything

" Do... Do you like them?" This was a new concept, buying gifts for people. It was always about survival, everything could fuck off.

" We do y/n but you didn't have to get us this stuff" lily says now looking at me.

" Why wouldn't I? You have me a home. You took me out of the cold and gave me hope. If it wasn't for the 2 of you. I'd still be out there somewhere. We're a family now I think I herd it put once. And I like to think that that's the case for us." I speak honestly but quietly afraid of what they will do after I say that last part, only to be enveloped in a hug form lily.

" You didn't need to get us anything. We took you in because we care about what would have happened to you. It's tough out there. Especially for you. You didn't get lucky. You got good will and people who care." Lily says before leaving the hug

" I still wanna know how you got all this" jack asks after patting my back" but you know what. Your gunna go far kid. with a heart like yours, even if you don't do this forever, you'll do just fine." Jack finishes with a smile on his face, a rarity for him.

" So let's get changed and do our mission" I say with a bright smile causing them both to smile and nod.

*Skip about 15 minutes*

Everyone was back at the table in their new gear

" Is everyone ready?" Jack says causing us to nod
