It was timely as Baekhyun barely had time to start playing when suddenly he pulled away and out of your mind. You were disorientated but you saw him running away, pulling out his fencing sword. He propelled himself up and over a tree before disappearing.
Even you with your limited senses suddenly felt as if the forest had become cleaner and brighter as well. You breathed heavily lying on your back to stare up at the sky. Even the sky suddenly seemed to shine, smiling down at you. You smiled back, shutting your eyes.
You weren't sure how long you laid there before a cold touch came on your arm. Your eyes flew open and you saw Kai looking down at you. But he wasn't smiling. He looked downright angry. You shivered the longer he stared at you. Why was he looking at you like that? Did something happen?
Finally his lips parted, "It doesn't matter."
You furrowed your eyebrow as your chains suddenly fell off. But you didn't move. You didn't dare. His white eyes just stared down at you for the longest moment. Then you found yourself scooped up in his arms as he began walking.
You wiggled with what little strength you had, "Put me down!"
"You will be silent!" snapped Kai.
The ferocity in his voice made you still instantly.
Suddenly an inhuman smirk formed on Kai's face, "I want you to know, it doesn't matter."
You swallowed as his eyes went from white to orange in a matter of seconds. Red cracks were beginning to form on his face. Suddenly the coldness that radiated from him turned into a heat like fire.
His grip tightened, "Even if they take you back they don't understand that you will always be Exo's! You will always be mine! You aren't theirs anymore!"
For some reason a lone werewolf crossed your mind and you couldn't help but to snap, "Even if I was anyone's, which I'm not, I assure you, I would never be yours!"
Suddenly Kai stopped and looked down at you pulling you up closer to his face. You pulled your lips into your mouth. You weren't sure what his intentions were but it was not going to happen here. You glared up at him.
He merely laughed, pulling back, "So cute!"
But then suddenly your feet were on the ground and Kai had an iron grip around your waist as he pulled you to him. You pushed at his chest as he tilted your chin with his other hand, stilling you.
You shivered at the heat of his orange eyes. His mouth was slashed down and he snarled, "Do you think that I would let you go so easily? I will come back for you. I will haunt you until you are mine. I saw you that time by the river and I wanted you."
You shivered at the dark promise in his voice, suddenly filled with fear. An overwhelming fear overcame you the longer you looked into his eyes. You tried to pull away, physically and mentally but he was too strong for you. This was worse than any moment you had with Baekhyun.
You could hear Kai's voice echo in your head, "Even if you go back to your pack, the time we spent together will never leave your mind."
