Chapter 2 ~ Present

Taylor P.O.V

I took those alcohol shots like they were nothing, but they did give me a huge buzz. So I go to the dance floor and start dancing with some random pack member and they dance along. Next thing I know I feel hands grabbing me and pulling me in the other direction. I open my eyes to see Luke growling at the pack member.

He pulls me over to him and so I can dance on him. "You get so jealous don't you Mr.BadAss?"

"No I'm not jealous I just got bored with those sluts and thought why not come over here and have some fun with you..." If you would've seen Luke you would've drooled....but me? Drool over him? Heck no I know this boy like the back of my hand. Luke is 17, has blond hair, blazing blue eyes, is 5ft 7inches, and can make a girl lose their mind in a second. I've literally seen him do it!

"Don't be surprised when I don't turn out to be your mate in the future." He chuckles and puts his head in the crook of my neck.

"Lets just hope the Moon Goddess gives you two mates and that I will be one of them." He said kissing down my neck.

"Dream on.." I say breathlessly. I always fall into his trance. We always end up having a full make out session until we both come to our senses and remember that we have mates waiting for us.

"You weren't saying that when we were kissing last night..." I ignored his comment and kept dancing to the music.

"When will you get it through you big head that we have mates and they can reject us in a snap!" I scream through the mind link.

"Once you understand that we won't find ours until we turn eighteen! Let loose and have some fun every once in a while....Doesn't mean you have to have sex with me, but just let loose."

He was right....until I'm eighteen I need to chill.. "Ok I'll try but I'm not making any promises ya here?!"

I can feel him smirking against my neck. I turn around and put my arms around his neck and smirk back at him.

"Remember no feelings, no pain. And in the end we're still ride or die friends."

He smirked down at me again "I'll love you forever so that doesn't apply to me.."

I laugh at what he said as he picks me up and spins me around. We continue dancing until I feel something that I haven't felt in a long time......I feel like someone I love is in danger....

I look all around the room in alert. I hear Luke asking me what's wrong through the mind link, but I'm too focused to pay attention. I finally found who I was looking for and almost shifted right then and there. I use my werewolf speed and run over to where Amanda is.

"You need to leave." I look directly at her and growl. I could feel my wolf wanting to come out.

"Oh there goes the almighty and powerful Luna..." She smirks.

"Alexa you need to leave now..." Luke growled. He grabbed her by the arm and walked her towards the door.

"Your not our real Luna.... It's your fault their dead. You should feel ashamed..."she smirked as she mind linked me.

Next thing I know, I shift and run Alexa. I grabbed her by her throat with my jaws and throw her down on the ground.

"NEVER MESS WITH ME. I DONT HAVE TO EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT HAPPENED. I SAVED YOUR ASS SO SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP!" I growled through the mind link using my Alpha/Luna tone.

I let go of her neck and looked over at Luke. He was growling at Alexa too. He calmed down as soon as I barked at him to grab her and take her out. I walked over to Kylie and she got onto my back as I nudged Amanda upstairs. We walked up the stairs and into my room.
