"Jimin hurry up and get down here!" Chanmi shouted.
Jungkook leaned against the wall playing a game on his phone.
"Why do I have to go?" Jimin complained at the top of the stairs.
"Jimin if you don't get your omega ass down here in three seconds, you'll be pulling my foot from your ass!"
He groaned knowing his mother was a second away from strangling him. He made his way downstairs with heavy steps.
"You need to get out more. You only hang out with Jin's friends. You need friends of your own. Don't get me wrong I trust the boys with you but don't you want some omega friends too?"
"No." He moaned.
"Let's go." She grabbed her keys and they gathered in her car. Jungkook hopped in the back as Jimin climbed in the passenger seat. He folded his arms and looked out the window. "Jimin, fix your attitude, you better not embarrass us tonight." She snapped at her sixteen-year-old.
"Where are we even going?"
"My friend and his family just moved on the other side of town and I wanted you to meet their son. He's been having a hard time fitting in at his new school and I wanted to see if maybe you can be friends with him."
"He goes to school to the school over there on the other side?" Jimin looked at her.
"Yes, he goes to the private school over."
Jimin rolled his eyes. "So I gotta hang out with a rich snob? Gee, thank Eomma."
"Stop it. I think you two will get along. He's the same age as you and he's an omega."
"Great even better." He grumbled.
"You haven't had an omega friend Hansoo, I know things didn't work out between you two but I think every omega needs at least one omega companion."
He wanted to say whatever but he also didn't want his mother to backhand him either so he just remained silent. Praying this night went as fast as it could go.
They arrived at the fancy restaurant.
"Eomma, what in the world?! We can't afford to eat here!" Jimin looked at his mother. He knew his mother worked two damn near three jobs to keep a roof over their heads. He would feel bad if she spent her earnings here.
She smiled. "Don't worry, my friend said they would pay for us to eat. So let's go." She looked at Jimin when he stayed planted in his seat. She placed her hand on his hand. "It's ok to treat ourselves to something nice every now and then. We deserve it. Let's enjoy our meal, ok?"
He slowly nodded and they got out of the car. She fixed Jungkook's coat and they walked inside. Jimin looked at all the uppity class people sitting and eating their food without a care. He couldn't help but judge them, while people like him struggled to get things for school, they all got on their best dress just to sit in a restaurant and waste money.
They were escorted to a table where a woman and man sat with their teenage son. Jimin's eyes widened when the teen looked at him his face also paled. Their parents laughed.
"Is orange a popular color with your kids?" The alpha woman spoked while giggling.
Chanmi placed her coat on the back of her chair. "I think they are destined to be friends." She smiled at Jimin who looked down. "Daesungie it's good to see you!" She smiled and hugged her omega friend as he hugged her back. She then gave Eunbyul a hug.
"How long has it been? I haven't seen Jiminie and Jungkookie since they were little." Daesung smiled. "Wow, they've grown into such handsome young boys."
